It’ll be hilarious if we acquire him after his comments against the fanbase fairly recently😆

We’d all be right there to welcome him with open arms!

(Unless he goes to the jets, then F him 😂)

We only have $3M in cap space, I don't think anyone Adams or Copper are in play for us.

Adams has a cap hit of $44m the next 2 years at age 33 and 34.

The Bills have us tamed like trained Seals. Were so use to Beane crying no money/Cap, we just automatically just sing the GM's tune! The Bills have become the Pittsburgh Pirates of Football. A team full of dumpster dives. Most of the teams considering Adams also have big time QB's and have cap issues. Our WR room is pathetic, and Shakir is now hurt, Who's the next man up Hollins/Samuel? That's a joke. Bills are just wasting another year of Allen's prime. Bills could easily be 3-3 in two weeks, and looking up at the Jet's. By then Adams will be gone, and Bills fans will be in a panic. They better protect Claypool. He may be our next best option. I see this season slipping away... On merit.

My son is watching that receiver documentary right now.

Adams seems 100% wanting to win a championship before he is done.  I don't think he really cares as much about touches as he does winning

You need to keep watching.  Early episodes it looks like the way you say but as the series progresses you see D Adams is a real prima donna.

You see his ridiculous press conference where when the Raiders won, Adams couldn't contain his displeasure of not getting enough targets.  You see Adams say he gave his approval for a QB change.  And Adams implies he gave his permission and recommendation for the coach change.  Early impressions of D Adams takes a dramatic change in this series and he comes off as a real douche.

“Everybody Eats” is a catch phrase you sell to a fan base when you have a bunch of JAGs or worse at the skill positions (WR specifically) … if it makes any sense whatsoever, bring Adams here and feed his azz. Why you would saddle JA with mediocrity is beyond comprehension to me.

32 years old.

his cap hit is  $25m this year, $44m next year and $45m in 2026.

Of course the Raiders want to trade that contract.

So you agree with me that it seems unlikely the Bills can afford him?

In the case of Adams, I dont want Beane to make the same mistake as with Von Miller - paying a lot for an almost over the hill player. Much as I want Adams' talent on this team, I much rather go after the more affordable 1-2 year rental in Hopkins.

I have a hard time believing we're talking about trading for an aging disgruntled receiver after we...traded away an aging disgruntled receiver.   So we're gonna pay big contracts for two divas instead of one?   Sounds like a recipe for success 😄

Bottom line, Beane fumbled the draft by not getting more weapons for Josh, and we should have kept Diggs if we're gonna go full circle into just trying to replace him with the same thing.

Yeah we spent the offseason transitioning from high-priced, aging vets to get younger, and now we're going to bring in a high-priced, aging vet? Adams best years are in the rear view mirror. Some of the takes in this thread are lunacy.

Funny Bills fans are worrying about age but are happy with Beane signing Mack Hollins in free agency and he’s starting.  Dudes in his 30s and has been on about a half dozen teams and had maybe 1 good season…. Fans should be livid that’s what Beane has done after completely gutting the WR room. Should be more pissed off the Coleman is losing snaps to this guy.

Really he shouldn’t be stepping on the field for anything but STs at this point. Lucky to still be playing let alone starting

Nah, we "quietly improved" at WR this year!

Obviously they'll all emerge as stars soon enough, right?

Adams is a diva headache this team does not need

Well it’s good we have Hollins, he’s such a team first guy. His 1 reception a game is gonna take us to the promised land

Hollins is a great special teams player, great blocker, does lots of little things allowing others to get open, and he has a great attitude.

Adams is a diva, who doesn’t play special teams, and is pretending he is injured so some sucker will take on his ginormous contract at age 33 and 34

We need WRs and Beane brings in ST players to fill the roll….. Championship!

Who’d he help get open the other night? If teams don’t respect you as a WR you ain’t helping anyone get open. He had 6 targets and reeled in one. That’s just wasting a down

Everybody Eats is the motto. Keep hearing guys gotta be ready when their times come. What does that they about Hollins after the Ravens game? Do you wait until another big game comes up and hope he does better next time? There is a reason he has bounced around the league and never held a starting job before

For this question, let’s assume that they can work the money out. If the Raiders eat salary it’s doable. I just don’t want the excuse to be “we can’t afford him.” Let’s assume that they can make it work. Would you rather have Adams or Hollins on this team?

I really don't expect the Bills to be in on this one. Doesn't strike me as their type of person and the contract makes it more tricky as well. And then his age is another factor. I think Cooper and Hopkins are both more realistic moves than Adams. I'm not saying he wouldn't be a massive upgrade to the room - he would - I'd just be surprised if this is a move the Bills want to make.

I don’t think that this is the move for them either. I am challenging the notion that they’d be better off without him because of his personality. That’s nonsense. They absolutely need an injection of talent and he’s elite talent. They should be on the phone seeing what this, or other moves, might look like. Despite what we were led to believe on this message board, they did not “quietly get better.”
