34-78-83 Posted 1 hour ago Share Posted 1 hour ago (edited) The reason the original post is so ridiculous is because we CAN see him being tentative and thoughtful about getting down before the hitter arrives, understanding the consequences of doing otherwise... Its clear visibly. He's gearing down as contact approaches. Its not like he is struggling running as hard and fast as he can in these instances and just coming up short of the mark. That's a visible thing. The only thing that could really be debated here is not the original question, but whether he is being more tentative because of the hand injury or because of the advice he's been given finally sinking in about living to play another down.
