I still think he has.  There was a scramble earlier in the game where Josh didnt even make it to the sideline and he had to slide.  He used to get the corner on those runs.  Now he isnt reaching the sideline.

The top end speed is there it just doesnt seem like he has the same burst anymore

I just assumed we were joking at this point but then there’s the “you know…”

post like Peter here as if he didn’t rattle off 55 yards and a TD on the ground today. While having arguably his best passing season here ever.

Is there like a cabal behind this troll or are some still really trying this hard?

He's clearly conscious of protecting himself. He's not running with reckless abandon on every play like he used to... the run tonight and the TD that was called back against Miami show he still has that gear when he NEEDS to get into that gear.

The difference is he's trying to avoiding doing it.

Slowing down enough to slide without taking a hit is pretty tough when you’re running full speed…he hasn’t physically lost anything lol he’s just picking his spots better for the most part to avoid taking hits

on plays like what you’re describing with a late slide the defender is very likely getting a big free shot in where Josh can’t really protect himself so the slide comes earlier than it seems like it has to

I really think this is a good thing and the hand injury in week 1 finally got through to him.  With huge games on the line you’ll still see vintage Josh like his big time run at the end of the game

It’s so ironic lol people have been begging him to make smarter decisions with his body and when throwing the football for years and now he’s doing both and people still complain 🤣

We are literally 9-2 and have the best start in over 30 years yet people are trying to complain and find something wrong with the best football player in the NFL that happens to be our QB... it's actually insane.

Some folk just can’t wrap their minds around the concept that our QB doesn’t want to be beaten the fuh k up by the time he gets to the playoffs, so that he can play at his absolute best when he gets there. I guess they aren’t being entertained enough…, lol.

Tell your mom great game last night, she ran circles around the 49ers in the snow!

Well, Josh hurt his non-throwing hand (again) so I'm waiting for the excuses for his slow foot speed (again).

He got dinged on his funny bone and the nerve went numb for a few minutes.
