It happens...flush it and move on...now how do Babich and Brady respond is all the matters

Trenches...you win in the trenches...and Balt dominated them and took us to the wood shed

Samuel APB is officially out, its like they have no plan for him and they need to get him going

How does Bass still have a job?  Like seriously...

OMG was that trick play stupid at that time when we had momentum...very Daboll-esque

We needed to keep calm and play our game with that momentum, not try a high risk play

Your silver lining is that may be Keon's mini breakout to where they get him involved more

Offense shot itself in the foot too much every time we started to move the ball

Unfortunately our injuries caught up with us on D finally, need Taron & Bernard back ASAP

Rookies will make mistakes, but seeing how Coleman responded was impressive

Expect to see Brady come out with a different look and game plan for the offense this week

Second down and short play calling this week felt predictable, needed some more play-action

Punch back now. You came out flat and got punched in the mouth, now go out and punch back

Open up the offense earlier, don't wait until we are down 2 scores

Not going to panic after a short week, tough opponent, on the road missing 3 critical defenders

Demar is a good story, but may be time to see what Edwards looks like back there

GO BILLS!

To the last point, I think Damar secured his spot when Trevor threw the ball directly into his numbers. I’m 44 and out of shape and I would have caught that at least 27% of the time.

Great story of perseverance. Below average safety, if I’m being kind.

Damar is no good in run support at safety. Poyer used to bring the hammer. I still say Cam Lewis has no business on the field except for maybe special teams

How easy it was to take them out on run plays was disturbing to say the least

i was on board with Damar and Rapp, assuming we had Milano, Taron, and Bernard in front of them. They are being asked to do too much with their talent and with the entire middle of the D out.

I'm not going to panic, I think the big fellas just didn't have the juice this week. You can't fake desperation, and that's what the Ravens were. If there's a rematch in the playoffs, they don't scare me. Moving on to Houston.

Had to wait my response, by adding that I agree that Brady didn't stick to the game plan enough. Lack of play action and motion, really hurt us.

Yeah, for the Ravens the game was as close to a must win as it gets this early in the season.  Starting 1-3 with 3 losses to the AFC would have really put them in a tight spot rest of the season and they came out like it was a playoff game.  That Henry TD run to open up just electrified that stadium and team and our guys just didn't seem to be up for the challenge to match the intensity.  It was also a short week and coming off some big wins.

Didn't help that we had not faced much push back or adversity really since a few mistakes first half week 1 where as Balt had already gone through some battles this year.

But like I said above, its about how we respond that matters now.  I expect to see some different things out of the offense this week, and if we are lucky I am hoping we can at least get Taron back this week and even better if Bernard too.

Good Lord, Lamar basically walked into the end zone untouched on a run from inside the 10.  How is that possible?  Hamlin got completely wiped out by a WR.  99% of safeties would destroy the block and at least make Lamar work to get in the end zone.  That play I officially gave up on Hamlin.  I'll take anyone else.

Idk I’m surprised no one is going to town on Dorian Williams

He was giving me terrible flashbacks of Tremaine Edmund’s getting absolutely manhandled

they will have Williams his entire time but dang why we wasted a draft pick on this kid is beyond me - he ain’t it

agreed.  he is a backup, nothing wrong with that.  He is physically limited.  Not sure why he is starting.  I'd put Bishop or Edwards in there.

My question is why we completed our roster to be a somewhat of a running team and attempt very little running schemes.......i mean, i get it, the Ravens front D were clogging everything up, but to have no motions, no play action and to not have a running game to boot, showed everyone that JA was throwing the ball. Well, mostly running for his life, but he had no outlets, nowhere to dump it and nothing gained in momentum in the early stages of the game to even dictate any assumptions of a screen game or plays to dump the ball quick.

So we got completely exposed during prime time. Unfortunately, we won't know for a few more weeks whether that was one bad night or if our flaws are fatal

Have we hit that point in the season where we look utterly lost for 6 weeks and then have to win out to make the playoffs?

Its a good thing this division looks like the worst in football right now

Trenches...you win in the trenches...and Balt dominated them and took us to the wood shed

OMG that trick play was mind numbingly stupid. Looks like Joe Brady is staying in Buffalo!

It was an ok start but I think you got a little dyslexic OP.  Fixed it for you.

Marino posted his review and he talked about the issues mostly being coaching on both sides of the ball that week.  It was Brady's first real L as an OC here in 13 games and it was Babich's first L as a DC.  Now its about how they respond, how they adjust and take what happened and figure out where they went wrong and put our guys in better position to succeed this week.

I do really feel like we will see a bounce back game this week on both sides of the ball.  It was a short week, on the road, against a tough opponent that really needed a win while we were also missing key players.  Some things got rattled early on both sides and we just didn't really recover, and when ever we were starting to flip the momentum we would do something that shot ourselves in the foot.

2nd down and short has been an issue for a couple of years. They always just want to pick up the first down and nothing more. I get it, not getting to 3rd down is extremely helpful, but in a league where big plays are in short supply that's a spot where you can get chunk yardage. And it doesn't have to be a bomb. I'd love to see some play action, even if it's just a crosser over the middle with the potential of making a guy miss and he's off to the races. They have to mix something - anything - in there on 2nd and short that isn't simply a run up the middle to pick up the first down.
