Roundybout
I’ve been defensive of Bass so far, but I think he’s mentally shot. Missing kicks like last night’a 48-yarder that badly is pretty unfixable. McManus was excellent with Denver and was looking good with Jacksonville until he was accused of sexual assault. I think we should give him a look.
DCofNC
About the equivalent of Bass, though his short range stuff is good. I’m not sure how much more choice there is going to be with Bass, he’s cooked.

Cray51
Bills need to bring him in for a workout. Guy kicked for years in Denver, and understands windy/cold conditions.
NoHuddleKelly12
For any ex kickers out there, would it help Bass more to feel pressure or to keep the status quo?
Blackbeard
I would think he'll be in asap for a look
MJS
If they bring him in and cut Bass, we'll be paying for two kickers this year and next.

All teams have their main guy, but he would probably be a good in the wings option.
zow2
Wasn't McManus most recently signed by Washington? but I'm not sure if he ever kicked in preseason.
Doc Brown
Just another JAG. I hate wasting practice squad spots on kickers but Bass's inconsistencies should force their hand.

Matt_In_NH
His career FG% is 81%, Bass is 84%. Maybe Bass is trending low but McManus will miss some too.
zow2
It was strange last night in warmups as I was watching Bass and Tucker warm up towards the same direction (the direction Bass made his FG). Bass was making kicks from midfield, which is a 60 yarder with no rush. Tucker was actually short on a couple from the same distance. Clearly Bass' leg is not weak, his mechanics and mental makeup are weak at the moment. 1
Bangarang
We are stuck with him I would imagine. Cutting Bass adds over 3 mill in dead cap money for next year.

So much for our drafting character guys.
uticaclub
Bass hasn't looked like a professional kicker for almost a full year now, he started trending down at the end of last season. If you regularly attend a Bills bar, none of the regulars were surprised when he missed against KC. Yes, he might get his ***** together and be reliable on another team in the future. BullBuchanan
Nah. We already had one predator in our teams group we had to ditch, don't need another. He's also considerably worse than Bass. Edited 1 hour ago by BullBuchanan
