MikePJ76
Listen People when the Ravens are at home and they are on their game they blow people out this is what they do. Just look at last year, without Derrick Henry mind you...Check out the blowouts they handed out last year. So if you want to get crazy and say the Bills are soft and not physical enough well, Is Detroit physical? How about Cleveland? San Francisco...the answer is yes. If you want to attack their Wide Receivers and the offensive coordinator well, Does Detroit, Seattle, Miami or SF have good WR? This website has told me everyday for two years now that those teams have great wr....and OC's yea Houston, Detroit, SF, Miami and Cleveland have pretty good ones. Credit the Ravens, Hope we are healthy next week and move on. Baltimore did what they do at home in the regular season. Find some great music and enjoy the Mets-Braves doubleheader..... I have Jackson Browne's Running On Empty at the moment go find yours! 2023 Week 1 - Baltimore 25 Houston 9 Week 4 -Baltimore 28 - Cleveland 3 Week 7 - Baltimore 38 - Detroit 6 Week 9 - Baltimore 37 - Seattle 3 Week 16 - Baltimore 33 - San Francisco 19 Week 17 - Baltimore 56 - Miami 19 Divisional Round - Baltimore 34 - Houston 10 Edited September 30 by MikePJ76 6 1
Royale with Cheese
The Ravens do a good job with attacking the middle. Our 3 middle guys....Johnson, Milano and Bernard were out. The Ravens took advantage of that and attacked us there. They game planned well. I expect a different outcome when those 3 return. We will see the Ravens in the playoffs. 5
RichRiderBills
It's a sound point. Agree not to overthink this.
MJS
The Bills weren't going to keep the run of never losing by more than one score going forever. Better it happened now at the beginning of the season so they can evaluate and move forward. 4 1 2
Einstein
lol, no, it’s not a good excuse to get blown out because “that’s what the opponent does”. 1

That stat is a tribute to the players and coaches here but really breaking the streak vs that ravens team at home in a primetime game is no big deal. I imagine the Bills staff like all the staffs they blew out last year and Dallas last weekend will watch the tape and go geez these guys kicked our tails at the line of scrimmage, thank god we don't have to play them again. Blackbeard
This board is always so damn suicidal post loss. We got beat by a very good team. We played poorly. It's not a perfect sport. The fan base is insane at times. Fire coaches. Draft pics were horrible. Get a new GM. Trades were busts. It's hard to stomach the insanity of reading this stuff over after a loss. Bring on Texans I say. Use this as motivation. 6 5 1

They have blown out all of the leagues best teams over the past year, SF, Houston, Det, Dallas, Buff etc. They are a unicorn with one of the leagues fastest running backs playing Quarterback for them. They present a challenge absolutely no one else can duplicate. They kill people in the regular season and then stumble in the playoffs with Jackson every year. Does this team bounce back from the worst loss they’ve had in years? Did we find an answer in Keon Coleman to be a guy we can lean on if teams take away Shakir and we stay confused as to how to use Kincaid and Samuel? Is Damar Hamlin still starting when he has proven to be a below average starter and was utterly dominated by the Ravens - easily being the worst player we had on the field last night. We can’t just make guys healthy at LB/Slot, but we can make changes at Safety. 1

The Chiefs beat them again in week 1. Lamar Jackson is 1-5 against the Chiefs. For some reason they play them really well. They struggle in their divisional games each year also. Doesn't change the fact that they hand out beatings at home and usually in primetime games.
Billsfan585
They laid out the blueprint on how to destroy the check down offense Brady runs. He’s been exposed. Same with D. Other teams will use this against us. It’s going to be a long season. 1 1

It's another thing to have the players/coaching to follow it.

Teams have bad matchups sometimes and just get whipped. That happened to Buffalo last night. Can other teams replicate their front and the environment? I am not so sure about that. 1

That unicorn team lost to the Raiders 2 weeks ago. And the Chiefs before that. And the Cowboys took them to within 3 points. There was no excuse for that performance last night. 3 1

I for one will be glad when this string of prime time games are over. I'd rather they play on Sunday afternoons.

We are the best at not getting blown out and last night we got punched in the face over and over with no answers. Ravens attack the middle and we were weak there. Our middle of the defense was on the sidelines.

The Chiefs have their number.

And the Bills were poised to make a 21-3 halftime lead turn into a down to the wire game with Baltimore on the ropes if Brady doesn’t dial up the most absurd play call in years. It was 21-10, mid-way through the 3rd, and we were getting 4+ yards a play moving the ball from the 20 to midfield before that. Baltimore gets up on people, and then they struggle to find the kill shot. At 21-17 or even 21-13, that game doesn’t go the way it did. Luckily for them, our own OC turned the gun on ourselves and did it for them. 3
