So your theory is that people are spending billions to buy homes, and leave them vacant, so as to reduce supply and drive up prices?

No.

You didn’t  even have to read the article it’s right under the title:

Lawmakers say investors that scooped up hundreds of thousands of houses to rent out are driving up home prices

Ah, so you think "lawmakers" are source of truth? Is that your theory?

Like the Haitians here legally.

The point of the Japanese example, most were citizens, they were shipped off and most list their farms, businesses and homes. Then they were relocated. Truly horrible. Since there is precedent hence the heighten reaction.

At a recent rally, Trump vowed to deport certain migrants in the country legally. "Get 'em the hell out!" he said to cheers and chants of "send them back."

They have also said legal aliens previously. This is the concern they’ll change the rules after they get power and it’s too late.

Just listening to the ladies, you might want to try it some time.

Misogyny 2.0.

You're assuming that since once "lady" says X, she speaks for all ladies everywhere.  Second, did you that speaking on this particular lady's behalf provided more clarity or relevance to the message?  Why not just post her thoughts instead of reinventing in your own words?

1. absolutism is not an actual argument. Obviously, I don’t speak for any women let alone all women.🙄

2. I had seen her post and didn’t feel like going back and pulling it for a quote but when you chimed in, I made the effort. 🫡
3. Maybe you don’t quite understand what the word means. 👩‍🎓

misogyny

mɪˈsɒdʒ(ə)ni

noun

dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against women.

4. So by your logic, my calling out the fact that JD Vance was yelling over two women, which was called out by a woman, who were running the debate is somehow me being misogynistic against women makes total sense. 🧐

Takes one to know one.
(do a little googling. He met JD a few times the stories are interesting.)

You are always kind enough to provide links. Do you have a link for the yelling part? I missed the yelling. I would love to see it. Thank you in advance.

they asked him to stop several times, hence they cut his mic (and Walz in fairness).

bonus time: you are then going to say “he’s not yelling, he just trying to be “accurate” but they asked him several times, he should have complied, and not for you to judge how they felt about his actions.

double bonus time: you get him to explain the thing that the felon couldn’t the day before. Apps are hard.

triple bounds time: do you need someone to help you search, or is this some performative move to ‘get the lib’ to look it up for me.

universal reaction seems to be bros love him (is it the eyeliner) and ladies know his type.

It seems like you might not understand the definition of yell.

yelled; yelling; yells

Synonyms of yell

intransitive verb

1

: to utter a loud cry, scream, or shout

2

: to give a cheer usually in unison

transitive verb

: to utter or declare with or as if with a yell : SHOUT

Or maybe you’re just a guy that had a rough night and is feeling the need to be dramatic in order to cope.

The women raised their voices and he refused to stop. Cool dude.

p.s. Did you see the bonus time points, I knew you guys would say exactly this.

Good to know that citing links and definitions is rubbing off (gross) on you guys. You really can learn, neat.

Why were the women raising their voices at him? That doesn’t sound very professional.

edit - it didn’t take you long to go from him yelling at them to them raising their voices at him. Really nice work on your part.

Oddest part of the post debate coverage is how many people seem to seriously responding to Vance calling them out for fact checking and then ignoring the fact he explained how they were wrong. It is just like the "fine people" quote, basically getting low information people excited to vote Dem.

You see it online a lot too. "I just corrected you." "Ok but your 'correction' is factually incorrect." "No you don't understand I *corrected* you."

It's an appeal to consensus, in a broad sense.

Sure she did! Both her and Biden were on record stating the CV “vaccine” was indeed a true vaccine offering full immunity….”get vaccinated, you will never get the virus”…how we soon forget when it fits ones narrative. She (Kamala) was complicit in her duties as veep. Yes, she stood idly by fully knowing Biden was a cognitive mess. These are facts and has nothing to do with Trump/Vance.

Um, I believe that's called being wrong.  They assumed it would work like many other vaccines.  They were wrong, as were most people.   It's like me saying the Bills are gonna win this weekend and they lose then calling me a liar.

I see that you owned this absurd take a couple posts above. Kudos to you. The only reason I am quoting it again is because when someone as self-righteous as you gets something so spectacularly wrong, it’s fun to point it out. I mean, you REALLY sh*t the bed with this. “I’d put my money on Walz winning big here”? Good heavens man. While Frankish will forever own the worst take in PPP history with his dumbfounding post-debate “Biden is mentally fit for the most important job in the world” routine, you are now in the running for worst prediction ever. Truly embarrassing.

Rage on, L Ron

It's not absurd at all.  Walz could have won that debate.   Many think he did, I disagree.   I think he should have gone balls to the wall and held Vance's feet to the fire.  They opted for being cordial.   Worst prediction ever?  Don't make me laugh.   We routinely see qanon conspiracies here.  Laughable.  I admit I was wrong.   I'm still waiting to hear about charges to Antifa/fbi/pipe bomber Ray Epps.
