I thought Josh was seriously hurt at one point. Not fine. Josh is my fantasy QB. I love that they keep pulling him early in these games... blowout Ws or Ls. I was ready to accept a loss and going 3-1, but the manner of the loss was appalling. 2

There is no doubt McDermott is a good coach but this team continues to get in it's way. Play calling is a huge part of that, as we saw last night. I guess, in reality, a lot of us saw this as a rebuild year at the start of the season, so making the post season may be the limit. But, with the roster available in recent years with the unicorn at QB (who I probably laid more blame at feet of for the fumble last night than I should have) they should have won at least one ring by now. Swap the Chiefs coaches for the Bills coaches and they would have done. And that's why there is an aversion to McDermott.

I completely understand the position, but I simply can’t see the point of moving on from a proven winning coach until we string together multiple poor seasons or the bottom totally drops out. A team like Jax would hire him in 5 seconds.

A QB who shoulda won 4 only got 1. That team was better built than ours tho. They never had Hamlin and Lewis as starters in games in multiple years. Also, even that fat slug would have kept running cook when it was working
Eastport bills
7 hours ago, Special K said: Starting off the game with a 3 and out followed by an 87 yard Henry TD run almost felt like an early knockout blow for the Bills. The game was lost, but on several occasions, it looked like the season could be lost as our Franchise QB took several brutal hits on the sidelines while he was running for his life, plus the worst hit of all on the failed trick play. I know the Ravens D plays with a nasty streak, but a few of those hits plus the eye poke of Kincaid were just downright dirty. Josh is tough, but even he looked rattled by a couple of those hits....losing a game hurts, but losing Josh for an extended period of time from a borderline dirty hit would be season-ending. PROTECT THE FRANCHISE, PLEASE!! Absolutely right, that hit deserves retaliation in a huge way. Our O - line should grow some testicles.

Back2Buff
Watch some other games. Every single QB gets hit hard. I didn't watch one game this weekend where the QB didn't get absolutely rocked. Part of playing the game of football.

Ralonzo
8 hours ago, Comebackkid said: a few pretty b.s actions that baltimore got away with. the nfl's desire to protect players is all over the place. The Shield set the standard on the first Josh scramble on the game's 3rd snap where he was sliding and the backer clearly lowered his hat and targeted Josh's head. The refs huddled and... move the ball back a yard. From that point on it was open season for the Ratbirds and they knew it. 2
Sweats
My god..... They were playing dirty, the Ravens hurt my feelings, blah, blah, friggin blah. You want to win the game, you go out and dominate your opponent, make them feel that they don't deserve to be on the same field as you, you crush them, you break them and break their spirit........you know, like we do when we're beating up on bad teams. Hey, just curious, did you see the intentional knee to the head Smooth gave the Ravens FB? Maybe not the best time to point a finger and say "they played dirty" IMO. And what happened? Oh a flag. How many did the Ratbirds draw? Zero. They were protected from themselves all game.
