I don’t have a problem with gadgets once in awhile, but the timing of that one and knowing that JA would have to throw it quick and most likely get blasted…just ridiculous.

Is the the first time Samuel has gone under shotgun and Allen out to WR.  Would of obviously like a Samuel run there if anything and maybe set it up down the road for a better time (like up by 10 at home).

Yes. Thank god the Bills play in the worst division in football. The Jets are a dumpster fire on offense, but it’s possible McDermott plays with 5 in the box to allow Breece Hall to feel like Henry for 2 games this season.

I’m not an X & O guy, but it seems like Douglas made a business decision to avoid making contact with Henry on the 87 TD run.  Please correct me if I’m wrong.
 

I see it as he could have gotten in his path but thought “ no thank you” to contact.
 

I guess he wanted no part of Henry’s massive frame.
 

No one in the secondary, save for maybe Rapp, has the cajones to try and tackle Henry.

Brady is getting a lot of grief for the failed trick play. I disagree. In context of the game at the time. Consider that we had just gone 3 straight 3 and outs, sandwiched around 2 Raven TD drives. Everyone knows this is how Baltimore games go -scoring early while shutting down the opponents’ offense- and they win most of the time. What Brady did was an attempt to break out of this typical dilemma the Ravens can be counted on to do. Did the ‘switcheroo reverse’ go horribly wrong, getting Josh hurt and fumbling the ball away? Definitely yes. But I admire the call. Had it gone successfully, we likely score then or very soon after, making the game very close with a lot of time remaining. But it failed and now Brady sucks. Such is the life span of the NFL.

God I’ve learned to hate this term. It’s synonymous to prevent defense. Neither have good outcomes. Play with what works and keep the pedal to the metal. It’s not rocket science.

Thanks goodness we aren’t in the AFC North. That division plays a different brand of football and we don’t match up well at all.

I was saying all week that the King was going to have a monster game against us and i heard, "Oh Sweats, you're delusional and you don't know what you're talking about".

 

First play and the king rips one for 87 yards and a TD. Nobody even tried to stop him or jam him at the LOS.......well, i knew it was going to be a long night and ole Sweats went to bed after that play.
