We play the Jets in 2 weeks on MNF as well (10/14) then not scheduled for another prime time game again til Dec. 1st at home vs the 49ers. 1pm & 4pm games left with a TBD date Jan. 5. Tonight begins a challenging 3 game road swing vs the “MVP” (finger quotes), Stefon Diggs new digs and New Jersey Nyets -all Conference games against teams with post season expectations. It’s simply what 4 straight Division titles entail 🤷♂️. Frankly, despite their recent history hype, Baltimore has been unimpressive through 3 weeks -as their 1-2 record attests. Like us, they’ve lost major contributors to past success this offseason including coaches & coordinators, adding only an aging Derrick Henry of note for a 1-2 rush game with “MVP” (finger quotes). Their Secondary & pass rush aren’t measuring up to lofty expectations and they’re battling injuries at CB & OL. Yes, they smacked around the Cowboys last week for their first win, but who doesn’t get better playing the Cowboys? This said, they nearly blew yet another big lead! It’s become the Ravens albatross as every team they play feels they’re not out of it, regardless of the score. Unlike us, they don’t have Brandon Beane to ace drafts. Ravens do have the #1 run Defense, but they really haven’t been challenged much. Why? They’ve built early leads with effective ball control but they’re susceptible in the passing game! They’re ranked 27th against the pass on merit and surrendering 26pts per game! We can move against them featuring this and the earlier we start the better. Bills are the #2 ranked pass defense, but we have outstanding line play on both sides of the ball! I’ll be surprised if we play much 2 deep zone tonight as they don’t really pose a serious threat with their receiver corps and Lamar’s pedestrian arm. Mark Andrews has been a no show at TE. It’s likely Likely is the bigger threat now. With 6 in the box, we should be able to fill run gaps. They also give up the most passing yards. So throw all night, Josh. They haven’t stopped anyone and we're multifaceted. Grateful for the effort … ”likely Likely”! 1 Quote

SageAgainstTheMachine Posted September 29 Posted September 29 This has the makings of an awesome game. The defense has been valiant in keeping it together so far but it's a pretty bad situation to be facing Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry without Milano, Bernard and Taron. I wonder if we'll see more Cole Bishop to increase the athleticism in that part of the field. 4 1 Quote

But seriously, latest forecast is just cloudy throughout the game, with low chance of any rain. Will probably be like last Monday night in Buffalo. 3 1 Quote

According to Cosell they are getting open quickly, yet “allegedly” Josh is only going to the first read just over half of the time. Does that make any sense? By the way, how do people who create such charts know who the first read is? Are they literally watching every play and watching the QB’s eyes? And doesn’t the QB sometimes intentionally look somewhere other than his intended target to throw off the defense? 2 3 Quote

CNYfan Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Big game, big, big game. Important for our national reputation and for the Lamar/Josh comparisons. But what is really important is getting a "W". Tough road ahead, best take this one. Go Bills!! 1 Quote

DapperCam Posted September 29 Posted September 29 This game could easily be a huge blowout in Buffalo’s favor. If we can get up a couple scores early, Baltimore will have to get out of their comfort zone and start chasing. A couple turnovers later and the rout is on. 1 1 Quote
Rich Stadium Original Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Still early in the season, but doesn't this week kind of set the tone for fans of Allen and his bid for league MVP. If Bills win..especially convincingly, he is for sure in the driver's seat. If Bills lose and Allen gets outplayed by Jackson, a lot of the reaction will be "see, he never was a good as Jackson...doesn't deserve to be MVP" Think the Bills need a big game by the D line to keep Jackson and Henry from running wild on inexperienced LBs and secondary, making Ravens one dimensional. 1 Quote

Who cares about the MVP. Seriously it's not about the MVP. this season it's about hoisting up the Lombardi and that's all Josh Allen wants. And for the record, Josh Allen is the better quarterback then Lamar Jackson by a mile. 5 Quote
