BigAl2526 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 In all seriousness this is one of the more boring call ups I remember. Clapp has moderate starting experience, so if the Bills have to play him it shouldn't be a disaster. Still, an undrafted rookie, Tylan Grable, beat him out for a roster spot at the start of the season. Clapp is a short term band-aid for O-line depth on the roster. He likely never sees the field. BillsfaninChicago Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Clapp must have been running rampant on the practice squad in order to get promoted. Quote

True. One thing it might point to is that while Clapp is a C/G he is filling in for a T slot, it means shuffling of the other depth. I'm hopeful that the reason they didn't call T Rich Gouraige is Clapp wouldn't need to clear waivers like he would. Could mean that Grable is hopefully back from IR sooner than later. Quote

GASabresIUFan Posted September 29 Posted September 29 It's kind of sad that we got rid of the Clapp and then just turned around and got it back. Quote
