HappyDays Posted September 29 Posted September 29 No joke, I would tell the Titans GM if the Chiefs come calling, do us the courtesy of calling us next and we'll beat their offer. 2 Quote

Poleshifter Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Dustin Hopkins missed an extra point today that cost the Browns a chance to tie at the last minute and force OT. They are blaming him for the loss. Quote
Cheektowaga Chad Posted September 30 Posted September 30 This first half is why you look into Hopkins The bills don't have an outside wr that can consistently beat tough coverage Quote
Chicken Boo Posted September 30 Posted September 30 This is the kind of situation where Hopkins would come in handy. I hope the prospect of DeAndre is coming into focus for people. 2 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Earlier in this thread someone wanted him to play behind Mack Hollins if acquired 😂😂 1 2 Quote

Like I was saying... I'm glad this has reared it's head tonight. Now there are no excuses come later in the season. And that's assuming there's a veteran like Hop available. Quote

HappyDays Posted September 30 Posted September 30 You have to win some shootouts in this league. It became extremely obvious tonight we don't have the personnel to win shootouts. Not even close. Mack Hollins is great when the game script is perfect and we are able to use him as a blocker. When we're down two scores and need to move down the ball field quickly, Hollins is useless. Coleman is still improving but we can't rely on him either. Shakir got shut down by the Ravens putting a true CB on him. The pass catchers aren't good enough and any improvement would be welcome right now. 3 Quote

When we got smoked by Indy at home, the last time we got blown out….did we prove back then we couldn’t win shoot outs. Yes, we played terribly tonight. But these are pretty knee jerk posts aren’t they? Quote

Nothing knee jerk about it. I've been saying the same thing for months. The knee jerk reactions were the ones that said 3 wins to start the season meant our pass catching weapons were good enough. Tonight isn't just about the defense getting steamrolled. The offense got steamrolled too. And unlike the defense we don't have replacements waiting in the injury tent. This is the offense we have for the entire season and it isn't good enough. 1 Quote
