What’s a kicker worth?

The general consensus is that Evan McPherson is one of the better kickers in the league. He missed a 48-yard FG on Monday night that played a key role in them falling to 0-3. The nightly Harrison Buttger missed a PAT on Sunday that kept the Chiefs from going up two scores. That might have cost them the game if Atlanta could have scored a TD in the 4th. My point is that they all miss.

And Aubrey just missed wide right with chance to seal the game against the Giants.  Beane would be an idiot to trade a 1st round pick for that, only for the guy to miss in the Super Bowl.

meanwhile the kicker in Dallas is amazing.  He kicks 60+ yarders without an issue.  He has a great onside kick technique too.

it sounds crazy but,I think the best kickers in the NFL are worth a first round pick - to the best teams.  I would have no problem with the Bills trading our #1 next year to Dallas or KC for their kickers.  It might be the difference in a SB win or not.

This post aged well.

3 games in and the Bills look great.  The weakest link appears to be our kicker.  A missed field goal has been the difference in a few games recently, including last post season.  It also factors into the play calling, 4th and long from the 35, what do you do? Too close to punt, our kicker stinks….?  Harrison Butker has been a huge reason why the chiefs have 3 rings.  Adam Vinetari won the Cheats a few Super Bowl too.  Wide right….?!?!?

the Bills are looking like such a complete, deep team.  We constantly have late round picks playing great. It makes me wonder what a kicker is worth to us?  Switch kickers with the chiefs - do the Bills win the SB last year?  They might!!

Sorry bud as I’m sure you’re looking for ways to improve, but the simple fact is you can get a top draft prospect with a 6th round pick.  My hope is Bass has some Sports Psychologist fix him this year, because it’s not his leg that’s the problem.  It’s his head.

On the other hand, a trade makes no sense.  A draft next year makes perfect sense if the season persists this way.

Disappointing outcome tonight, to be sure.  I really thought we needed to get the lead first, to win this one...that said, is it crazy for me to think it was odd that the Bills didn't go for it on 4th & 2 on that opening drive, after going for it on 4th & 1 on their own 39, on the same drive? I don't get it.

Do the microwave stuff! My sister almost burned the house down using oil once. I ran down, opened the slider, grabbed pot holders and threw the pot of fire toward the back yard. I had failed to open the screen door after opening the slider, so the pot of fire bounced back into the house.

THAT is how I expect this to go! 😂

THAT pretty much was the game in a nutshell.
