“Targets” implies the person throwing the ball is accurate?
So you’re saying Josh Allen threw the ball to Shakir “on target” 27 consecutive times?

This is fake news. Cant be.

He's been electric. Really glad to see it all come together for him.

Still the worst WR unit in the last 40 years?

Crazy stat, but he is one hell of a player and i love how he constantly fights for YAC.......something this team has sorely lacked for many years.

He is easily becoming one of my favorite players on the roster.

Unless, the Bills just outsmarted nearly every other human being and the entirely of math itself!

Just went back and looked at the terrible article with that headline, where they tried to prove it's impossible for Josh Allen to succeed in the NFL based on his stats.

They essentially posted every metric where he was below average and all the terrible qb's before him with similar numbers in those categories. And then they conveniently hid this little without expanding upon it:

"PFF grades him below-average in six of 10 traits and above-average in just three: running, intermediate passes, and difficult/high-value passes."

Well I'll be damned, the guy who is above average in intermediate and difficult/ high-value passing has been able to vastly improve his quick short passing!

Something else I noticed too. Josh is throwing with a lot of touch on his passes this year. The percentage of fastballs seems way down, which is giving his receivers a more friendly and catchable ball.

Pair that with him hitting the short throws on time and in stride, the YAC is way up. Shakir benefits from all of this, and really has tremendous hands.

When Shakir catches the ball, the fun is just beginning. Very different than what we saw with Beasley or Diggs at the end when the only thing left was dropping to the ground.
