GASabresIUFan Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) There is no question that the next 3 games are winnable, especially the way the team is playing, but…. It’s hard to win on the road. All three teams can’t afford a loss to the Bills even this early in the season and will give us their best effort. That said. 1) at Balt: Sunday night: Josh took a subtle shot at Lamar by calling him the 2 time MVP during a interview tonight. Josh is going to super focused against the Ravens to show who is the better QB. Ravens are 1-2 and their D has allowed 78 points and are 29th in QB pressure rate. If they can’t get to Josh, the Bills should win. 2) at Houston: This game scares me, but Houston has surprisingly struggled to score with only 55 in 3 games. Collins, Dell and Diggs are great, but Minn showed how to beat them; stop the run and force the young QB to beat you. Hard to do with our pass rush. Stroud has already been sacked 11 times. Mixon has an ankle injury and was out vs Minn. If he is slowed or out, all the better. 3) at the NYJ: Hall, Wilson etc… very scary weapons with a statute at QB. Defense has key injuries especially upfront. Get home on Rodgers should be the key. If the Bills win, they take control if the division. Edited September 24 by GASabresIUFan 8 3 1 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Tough stretch for sure. If they get them all they will have a strangle hold on the division and will be vying for the one seed. That is not likely though. So we will see. Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I don't love that all 3 games are on the road against 3 physical teams with loads of talent. I do believe that the coaching staff will have some good game plans to shut down that Ravens rush attack, the Texans talented WRs and a Balanced Jets offense. We need to play clean ball. Execute, keep the penalties down and stay patient on offense. Ravens and Jets defenses seem to play well against Allen historically. 2 Quote

Bills!Win! Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I would be happy with being 4-2 after those games. Just beat the jets 4 4 1 Quote

VaMilBill Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I think we match up well against Baltimore and Houston. if McD does anything well it’s gameplan against good or less QBs. I don’t believe for a minute Lamar is elite. Nor stroud. I believe we should win these next two games. the jets will be tough. They are built for teams like us. I believe we will win next 2 out of 3 games 1 Quote
ToGoGo Posted September 24 Posted September 24 One week at a time. I see a 34-27 comeback win this Sunday. 1 Quote

Sweats Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Ravens and Texans for sure, shut down the run and make Stroud and LJ throw the ball.....and for the Jets, rush the "statue" and pressure him all day long, get him uncomfortable in the pocket......sweep the leg (Achilles). 2 1 Quote
Process Posted September 24 Posted September 24 We can win them all. @Jets is the most likely loss IMO. McDermott will find a way to contain Lamar, and Stroud hasn't really been impressive. Quote

Fixxxer Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Super confident right now, last night was a good test because the Jaguars were 0-2 and were sort of deseperate for a win. It was not even close because the Bills were worried about themselves and the proper execution of the gameplan. Next three weeks will be tough, moreso being road games, but I have confidence the Bills can beat all three. The Ravens don't scare me, they didn't do anything special against the cowboys who looked like they have never seen a read option play before....Very undisciplined defense, unlike ours. Stopping King Henry will be key, Likely and Andrews can hurt you in the passing game. Houston has some fire power and it will be an emotional night, being this one the Diggs Bowl. Josh will want this one bad, we will see how the team responds. Tough defense but I believe we can score some points on them. Jets, different game with Rodgers at the helm. Divisional game, that we must win. GO BILLLS!!! 1 Quote
BarleyNY Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) Going into the next 3 games already 3-0 and clicking like the team is right now is very, very encouraging. I’d be psyched to come out of it 5-1, which certainly looks very achievable. Edited September 24 by BarleyNY 1 Quote
Shortchaz Posted September 24 Posted September 24 It seems like the offense will slow down once there’s film of the new concepts etc. we shall see. 1 Quote

zow2 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I'd love to win 2 of those 3, but accept the reality that in the NFL you're never as good as you look one week, and never as bad from week to week. So in our case, we're not going to blow away the Ravens, Texans and Jets. These will be tough games, we might lose the turnover margin in a couple... and i hope the Bills get out of them relatively healthy. Quote
K-9 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Trepidicious. Three in a row on the road is a challenge regardless of the quality of the opponent, let alone the three good teams they'll be facing. I'm thrilled as hell with our impressive 3-0 start, but we've seen dominating starts in the past. As the saying goes, it's a week to week league. We need to go 1-0 next Sunday. 1 Quote
