He was decently solid before he died. He had his ups and downs, of course, but he wasn't a significant problem filling in due to injuries.

Good to see him developing and playing well.

What got lost with Hamlin after his injury was that he was a depth developmental guy. Someone that backs up the starters and needs to step up in the moment and hopefully develops into a starter eventually because he was a young guy with potential. He gets hurt and the team keeps him and suddenly it's all they're only keeping because of his injury.

He is a total one shot wonder as a coach. He could coach another 100 seasons and he'd never win another Superbowl. See also: McCarthy, Mike

I admit, his tenure with the Eagles had me fooled.  Well, he had a good first year with the Jags too iirc.

Now looking back, that killer Eagles offense may have been 99% Frank Reich.

how have the jags managed to make so little of such great recent draft opportunities?

lawrence was hands down the most guaranteed no1 pick in years. and this is who he is? really?

the lesson has to be that you never get temped to leverage yourself for a 'guaranteed' QB. nfl is a different universe.

bryce the same story.
