Kirby Jackson Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Some of the mental gymnastics being played here to downplay Worthy and pump up Coleman are hilarious. The Bills made a mistake. Is Worthy going to be great? Who knows. Is Coleman? Who knows. Which one is better now and more likely to succeed? Worthy and that’s not up for debate at this point. Hopefully it is up for debate in the future. 2 5 Quote

For a poorer 40 time Keon had almost a double YPC, broke more tackles. Show me what Worthy numbers would have been with a healthy Rice or Brown ahead of him during the season. 1 Quote

Is this seriously a question? Lol, he consistently produced and made plays on a championship level team. He has a skill that he excels in and displayed that skill would consistently translate. Coleman caught 1/2 of his targets. if he can’t figure out how to get open he can never be more than a role player. That’s not an efficient way to win. Worthy’s contributions and importance to KC’s Offense >>>>>>>>>> Coleman’s contributions and importance to the Bills Offense. From the time Coleman came back from injury he caught 10 balls on 29 targets for 161 yards and 1 TD. Over that same stretch (added a game because he sat out Denver to have it the same sample size), Worthy caught 45 ball on 58 targets for 518 and 5 TDs. I can’t fathom how anyone can objectively look at them and think differently. 🤣🤣 2 Quote

Worthy averaged 6.5 yards per target , Coleman 9.7 yards per target And worthy also gets one of the best play callers in the last 30 years scheming him open.. those three stats I posted show keon outperforms him in categories and it's not worthy as head and shoulders better Coleman averaged 20 yards a catch.. battled back from injury and was already considered raw as a receiver.. he's going to improve Edited 12 hours ago by Buffalo716 1 Quote

He regressed post injury and hope that it was from recovering and not from the tape being out there. My god, he caught 10 of his last 29 targets!! What are we doing here? I get the homerism but this is crazy talk. Spin the stats however you want to feel better. If you’ve watched the last few months and think that Coleman is better, or will be better, I don’t know what to tell you. There isn’t 1 team in the league that would trade Worthy for Coleman. 2 1 Quote

Did worthy finish the season better yes.. does that mean he'll be a better pro for 10 years? That's not how it works You act like he just went for 1,300 yards lol he literally got plays drawn up specifically for him the whole season.. plays to get him in space, and dragging across the field open ... He's not winning with savvy route running.. Andy Reid literally has to go super deep into his bag to get him involved... Misdirection reverses and everything all season... He's literally running routes within 10 yards getting schemed open 80% Keon Coleman beats NFL corners for the ball.. he's not getting schemed open... He beats them with his talent when the ball is in the air Is he ever going to become a pro bowl wide receiver? Probably not... But McDermott & company develop players at a top five rate in the NFL... You can count on both fingers and hands how many under-heralded guys we have developed... You can probably count on one hand how many guys we failed to The smart bet says Coleman is absolutely going to improve Devonte Adams had 400 yards each of his first two years... Nobody thought that guy was going to turn into a perennial stud.. hard work and learning with a quarterback eventually pays off Worthy is a solid talented player... You literally cannot judge a draft class after one season lol worthy could literally get beat into Oblivion the next 3 years because he is 165 lb with a limited route tree Edited 11 hours ago by Buffalo716 Quote

One guy improved as the year went along and is a key piece on a Super Bowl participant. The other was a role player that lost playing time to Mack Hollins down the stretch. He caught 10 of his last 29 targets. That’s unfathomable. The book isn’t written on either guy. I’m not disputing that but if you’re betting on 1, you’re betting on the guy that produced. If you gave 32 teams the choice, at least 31 take Worthy. Edited 9 hours ago by Kirby Jackson 2 Quote
Since1981 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Jury is still out. Worthy: you can’t teach speed. Coleman: big basketball dude proof Josh can make any avg WR much better is Gabe, Mack STILL needs a downfield threat after Brown! 1 Quote

The jury is definitely still out. Worthy is definitely a better player at this point. Both of those things are true. Could things change in the future? Sure. Could the gap between the two widen in the future? Sure. 1 Quote

Yes he didn't finish good.. not the first rookie won't be the last.. he also broke his wrist I'm not a big excuse guy for a professionals .. but for a guy who relies on being physical a broken wrist is tough for a receiver 9.6 yards per Target is impressive for a rookie or a 10- year vet... NOT Yards per catch, yards per Target.. so regardless of the catch rate he was getting 9.6 yards average a Target Him and Josh clean up their connection and you get higher catch percentage and the chance at a 10 yd target guy Edited 9 hours ago by Buffalo716 1 Quote

Here’s some fun. Worthy in the playoffs - 19 catches, 287 yards, 3 TD’s. Coleman in the playoffs - 3 catches, 22 yards, 0 TD’s. Man, it’s neck and neck. I think we need a few more years to figure out who is more valuable right now. Quote

With a guy who draws up the best plays in the world Josh Allen threw the least amount of times in his full-time career since his second season.. mahomes had a hundred more passing attempts Equal that out and give him 13 more targets.. well that's 130 more yards We just don't throw the ball a lot If keon has 80 targets next year and catches 52 for 18.5 yards are reception and goes for 960 and 8-10 tds And that actually is realistic , that would be great for our offense Edited 8 hours ago by Buffalo716 Quote
