zow2 Posted Wednesday at 12:06 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:06 AM Yeah, i was wrong about Worthy. I didn't think he would hold up...and dang, his best game of the season was against us. So if you remove him from the KC lineup, it would have made a difference. We were undercut by them reaching up and grabbing McDuffie too, leaving us with Elam. KC is playing chess.. and I don't know what we're playing. 1 Quote

Hold up... 1 season, less than 38 yards a game average as basically their starting WR in an offense where there are multiple options. Worthy got just over 10 ypr Your point on McDuffie is right, worthy not yet. Coleman got 42+ yards a game in a system that passes to everyone, in games he was seldom used with 29 receptions at that. @ 19.2 ypr Edited Wednesday at 12:12 AM by boyst 1 Quote

Coleman did jack sh*t in these huge games vs Denver, Balt, KC. Worthy made us look like fools. Next season if Keon goes off in the Divisionals and AFC Championship game, I will present him with his flowers. 3 1 Quote

Cooper did jack s**t in most the games he was here too...thats our offense, not the player. And people need to relax a bit on Worthy's game where that big catch wasn't even a catch, ball hit the ground, and if the refs are going to ignore that then Bishop had possession at the time they hit the ground and hits ball not Worthy's. How it held up as a Worthy catch is as big of a mystery as how did they not give Kincaid the first when he was a half yard past the marker, followed two plays later by how the hell was that not a first down by Josh. 1 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted Wednesday at 12:36 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:36 AM Worthy is a weapon. He isn’t a volume guy but he’s a playmaker and potential game breaker. He’s a big play waiting to happen. He’s never going to be a guy that has huge yardage on the season. Coleman is somewhere between project and stiff at this point. His separation is a MAJOR issue. He has good ball skills but if you’re NEVER open, how many balls can they throw you? He’s a 4th or 5th WR that will hopefully become a red zone threat. He was absolutely not worth the 33rd pick (and this isn’t hindsight). Ultimately, McConkey was the pick. He’s the guy that can find space and handle volume. There were lots of WRs in this draft so some were going to succeed and others fail. 3 1 Quote

But I know Worthy is better then all of them. I don't buy it. Instead he's better than our worst CB, Elam. 1 Quote

Worthy a playmaker he has good quickness bu with just over 10 yards per catch color me less than impressed. Coleman had 82 less receiving yards with half the receptions. 59 vs 29. Who else did Hebert have to throw to? Quinton Johnston? Joshua Palmer? Toss in McConkey had 112 targets, Coleman had 57. Edited Wednesday at 12:49 AM by The Jokeman Quote

I agree, that Cooper may have well been akin to lighting a 3rd round pick on fire. Quote

Coleman caught 29 of those 57 targets! 51% of your targets is not acceptable. That happens when you’re not open. I’m not going to hammer on it all offseason but WR was a MASSIVE need and they drafted a guy that isn’t good. 3 1 Quote

I didn’t follow Coleman closely enough to know how’d he do in the NFL. But so far he’s as advertised and I’d agree he’ll probably never be starting caliber. How about moving him into the slot? Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted Wednesday at 12:58 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:58 AM Just now, The Jokeman said: Coleman yards per reception was better than any rookies drafted between 2021-2024 but yeah he stinks. Cool, he’s trash. He’s never open. He caught 1/2 of the balls thrown his way because he’s never open. Worthy is a threat to take it to the house on every play, rushes & receptions. I’m not saying that he was the perfect guy for the Bills but he’s way better than Coleman. The Bills had a massive need at WR and missed.
