Yeah, his rookie numbers are pacing to look like McKenzie’s career numbers.

Worthy is much closer to a Marquise Brown type of player and ceiling.  Brown has struggled with durability and that’s something I worry about for Worthy as well.

if you read their draft profiles, they are almost identical

For the Chiefs he was a CJ Spiller type pick. They didn't have a specific need in the draft that they had to invest in so they chose to go with a high risk/high reward type similarly to what Spiller was when the Bills couldn't afford the risk OR the reward.

Great comparison and on point.

I think it's safe to say that the trade was a win/win with both KC & Buffalo getting great WR prospects who are meeting each team's key needs.

That's what good GMs do.

Yeah ok they had no need at WR. Beyond Rice and an aging Kelce they have poor weapons.

Ok, they needed a WR but they got a WR and they just won 2 superbowls without a stud WR...

Worthy caught 4 passes on one drive….thr KC first TD drive late 1st/ early 2nd

after that? What happened?  I think he ran the ball once and couldn’t catch a deep pass by not being able to stay in bounds.

It's a good thing for us he didn't get his foot down in bounds on that wide open downfield play...

or they may have kept feeding him.   I'm sure we made adjustments, but I believe Reid also changed plans after that play

That was by far his best half of football but the Bills adjusted in the 2nd half like they have all year.

Have to give it that he is an electric player...He has every good chance to become something like a Tyreek Hill.

It did look like they were force feeding worthy the ball to start the game.  Not sure if that was an intentional move by reid or not.

I did love his incomplete pass! It was obvious from the upper deck he didn’t get the foot down.  Loved that he couldn’t simply drag his foot and get the first!

On another note.... Ladd McConkey looks real good as well.

How good are rookies Brock Bowers and Ladd McConkey?

Bowers - 10 games - 70/89 706 yards 3 TDs ----- First in receptions and yards of the 2024 rookie class

McConkey - 10 games 43/63 615 yards 4 TDs ----- 3rd in receptions and yards of the 2024 rookie class

Looks to me like he may well develop into the guy they wanted when they drafted him. And for sure Andy will know how to use his skill set.
I doubt he will ever be the player Hill is though. Tyreek is like 30 lbs heavier and just as fast. Also a great route runner, which Worthy has jet to prove.

It almost seemed like in the 2nd half that Cooper and Worthy were nonexistent. I felt like both HC's figured they'd neutralize each other's deep threats and force the game to the middle where both teams' strengths actually lie.

McD can hang his hat on besting Reid over that chess match.

The Worthy pick wasn’t stupid. The Spiller pick was monumentally stupid.  Lynch and Freddie Jackson were on the roster and you still take a RB in the top 10. Just stupid.

On his touchdown Mahomes knew he was going to him right away. I’m no defensive coordinator obviously, not really sure how you call a defense though that lines up a linebacker on the fastest guy in the league

Exactly, we could have used Dez Bryant at the time and would have been a great addition to those teams.
