Ralonzo Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) ESPN: "Comanches 38 - Bengals 33 is the first game since the 1940's with no turnovers and no punts." Ahem. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Punt_Game Edit: ah. turnover. Edited September 24 by Ralonzo Quote
BigDingus Posted September 24 Posted September 24 0-3 Bengals... Including losses to the Patriots and Commanders! That's awful. Quote

ProcessImproverMan Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Looks like Burrow may be destined to have a Chinese knockoff version of a Phillip Rivers career over there. Dude seemed to play pretty decently again and still lost. What a dysfunctional franchise. Quote

Bengals want to be bullies and those 2 were huge reasons why they were tough. Zac Taylor needs to rethink the preseason. Bengals come out so flat the first month of the season. Quote

That's usually what it is, but this time their defense lost too many dudes this offseason. And they lost them because the Brown family is having to pinch pennies to get ready to pay Chase. Quote
Danger Mouse Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Funny how some QBs just come NFL ready and some don't. Lawrence still struggling after 4 years. While Jayden Daniels appears born for this level. Quote

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 http://www.playoffstatus.com/nfl/nfl.html Too early for this to be anything but wishful thinking, but based upon their odds projections, Bengals lead the AFC with an 86% chance of no playoffs. Quote

They would have expected to come out of the first three weeks with a 2-1 record at least. The Patriots and the Commanders at home? Yes, ok, the Chiefs were always going to be tough and a possible defeat, despite the ‘Burrowhead’ meme, but it’s a horrible start for them. With their defense in the state it is, the game against the Panthers may be another shoot out but not as confident that Dalton will be able to keep up with Burrow in the same way Daniels did. Quote
