All of college basketball is going to hell with the portal and trying to raise NIL money. Why should I have to come out of pocket to buy/rent some guys to play for my team for a year? I don’t begrudge the players mobility or compensation, I just don’t like resulting product. We used to be proud that every guy who finished his eligibility left with a degree. Now? Maybe because the rosters are smaller and the NIL money is less overall than football, but i feel NIL is ruining bball more than football. 1 1 Quote
