zow2 Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Brady's persona definitely had some douche-baggery mixed in there.. along with his football talents. 1 Quote

If it's true that he was intentionally throwing balls in the dirt any time he didn't like his OC's playcall, I mean...that's um...not so great. 1 Quote

He blew up at coaches a well. When things didn't go right he devolved into a whiny brat. But this is not new. We've all known this for forever. He is a douche, but he was a great QB and competitor. Those things sometimes go hand in hand, for some reason. There have been a lot of jerk control freaks at QB. He expects perfection from himself and his teammates, its pretty well known. 1 Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted September 20 Posted September 20 For the guys who don't think they could kick Sean McDermott's ass....do you think you could kick Brady's ass? Quote
Simon Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Tom Brady is arguably the most overrated player in the history of the NFL and I wouldn't even put him on my list of Top 20 qb's of all time. There, I said it. Flame away. 1 2 6 1 Quote

TheBrownBear Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Seriously, who cares? The guy is just speaking his mind on a podcast. And Brady's a big boy with 7 rings. I'm sure he can take the heat and really doesn't care what Baker and a few disgruntled former teammates think. 1 2 Quote
TheFunPolice Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Brady haunted me as a football fan for 20+ years. It felt like it would never end. Definitely the player I rooted against the most and it isn't close. That said, the man was a psychotic, Type A ultra competitor whose entire life was football, preparing for football, eating for football, and getting ready for football, so any little thing that wasn't right he couldn't handle. On some level, it probably drive him nuts that not everyone was like him. Any time, energy or thought spent on something non football related was a waste. For the vast majority of guys, that would probably be exhausting. But he's Brady, so you can't say much. 3 Quote

Some of the greats are wired differently and that is part of why they are so great. If you’re the GOAT they let you get away with this a bit more than if you are just a JAG. 1 2 Quote

There, I said it. Flame away. IMO Manning was a better QB but Brady always had the supporting cast on defense. Plus Brady had a pathetic bunch of clown shows in his division that amounted to 6 automatic AFC wins for most of his career. This is why I'm not going to mind when Josh Allen ties Brady for 7 SB wins. Just to put an end to the "he's got the most rings, therefore the GOAT" talk. 1 1 Quote
Don Otreply Posted September 20 Posted September 20 How this would be a surprise to anyone is amazing, we are talking about the guy who knowingly took part in a cheating scheme for pretty much his entire career, the guy is a walking character flaw, and now he’s so obviously going down the plastic surgery rabbit hole, you know this guy has no actual friends, 1 Quote
