Stads Posted September 20 Posted September 20 How in the actual hell did the Patriots beat the Bengals? Quote
The Helmet of Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Very unimpressed with AVP’s game script from the opening drive. On D, Pats losing their LB / captain is a big blow. They lack depth and are something of a MASH unit at this point. The Rodgers suck job is insufferable… Quote
Draconator Posted September 20 Posted September 20 I would have almost wanted to see Wilson make that catch, then have it called back so I could have sent an LOL to @Jimmy Spagnola Quote
Scott7975 Posted September 20 Author Posted September 20 Why take the last TO here? They just got a FD. Just spike it quick. Quote

But he looked decent in preseason and they should get him out there this season and deal with the learning curve so he’s ready to roll in 2025. If I'm Mayo I keep that kid as far away from this game as possible. 2 Quote

Let the vet take the early season lumps and then plug in the rookie once the season is kind of lost and there's not much pressure. I also think NE probably wants to see how good or bad the surrounding offensive components are before throwing Maye out there. Because it is a lot easier to tailor an offense around Maye after you have 6+ weeks of regular season film of the guys that are going to be around him. I think it is the right call to let the rookie sit for at least 6 or so weeks and allow him to come into what will at best be a better situation or at worst be less exposure to a bad situation. Makes sense. They still have the Mac Jones saga in their heads too. They don’t want to rush Maye out there and mess w his head as a rookie. But i’m sure he will be in there at some point this season. thenorthremembers Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Rodgers gets the ball out too quick. Patriots need to rush 4, play press, and drop everyone else back in coverage. Quote

Rocky Landing Posted September 20 Posted September 20 I met Aaron Rodgers once on an ESPN gig, and I thought he was a pretty cool guy. But, man... he really looks like a dick here... 1 Quote
