BuffaloBill Posted September 17 Posted September 17 I am very happy that JA has started the season putting up ho hum numbers - almost drought era QB like. It’s good for everyone on the Bills to know that JA does not have to wear a cape on every play.. Imagine (not likely but imagine) this pace keeps up for the season: 264 of 357 for 3,896 yards - might be a sad season statistically, but ….. if the W’s keep coming, so what? 1 1 1 Quote
JerseyBills Posted September 17 Posted September 17 The gameplan vs Mia was to run run run and dominate the l.o.s, they did that, it'll be a weekly adjustment, week 1 he had to put on the cape, let's hope we see more of week 2. The way this ol looks, we certainly should 2 1 Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted September 17 Posted September 17 First of all passing is down league wide. Qbs like Mayfield & Carr cannot keep this pace. Josh simply has to keep doing what he's done these first 2 games. Let Brady dial up Cook and spread the wealth among several receivers. 4000 yards/ 70% and a qb rating around 105 will probably get you an MVP. And God knows he's long overdue. 3 1 Quote
Big Turk Posted September 17 Posted September 17 There will be games he has to go Psycho Josh for sure at some point. No need to have him have to do it every single game...the less often he has to do it, the better it is because that means we are winning other ways. 1 5 Quote
julian Posted September 17 Posted September 17 (edited) If the 42 TDs and 0 INTs pace comes with the yards then sad it will not be. Edited September 17 by julian 2 2 1 Quote
colin Posted September 17 Posted September 17 just crazy efficiency there. now, we've had a real passing offense for like 4.5 quarters. 2 attempts in the first half vs zona, and after like 5 mins into the 3rd vs miami it was clock killing time. we'll see games where it is more back and forth and that will increase the production, but it does feel like allen will not break like 4500 yards passing, but might break 45 total TDs. Billznut Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Could not care less about Allen’s numbers. The only number that matters is 2-0. If he keeps the wins piling up, the accolades will follow. 9 3 Quote
Scott7975 Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Whats amazing is we are putting up like 30+ ppg and the offense still has another gear that it hasnt needed to touch. Credit the defense for some of this too. 3 Quote

Take what the defense gives you. There will be teams that think they stop the run they will win outside. This will result in a 200 yard first half. Probably Jacksonville. They will take away the run and Allen will explode. 1 Quote

Bryce Young, that's a whole category all his own, isn't it? 1 Quote
