Bryce Young already benched in Carolina

i'm so glad they pushed Jerry Richardson out for a real standup guy like David Tepper. he just makes people feel good and is a good businessman... that should be no where near football because he is a piece of shiz human being.

So the “overdrafted” comments are such a joke to me. The only discussion anywhere, here included, was should it be Young or Stroud. So if he was overdrafted, it was by 1 spot-he wasn’t going past 2

Carolina in the driver seat to do it all over again in next years draft.  The team is in shambles.

Rumor has it that Houston also had Young as QB1, so Carolina may have saved them from themselves.

It's like the Mahomes/Josh argument. Mahomes may have wilted at Buffalo under a different coach with barely any chance to sit and watch before being thrown onto the field.

Hurts, although he was the starter at Bama for a couple of years, technically was drafted into the NFL from UO.

 

Young is too small for the NFL and Carolina, blinded by Bama QB college greatness snatched him up as the next Panther savior.......and how's that working out for them?

Stroud has exceeded my expectations, for sure, but I thought Carolina was making a huge mistake on draft night, choosing Young over him. 
 

I watched both QB’s closely and just didn’t see Young succeeding with his limited tools.

He himself calls himself a crimson Tide.. he's absolutely as much Alabama as Oklahoma 

 

And point stands again that it's up to the player how they perform in the NFL.. a college can only put you in position to get drafted

Young looks like a kid playing with grownups. It sounds mean to say, but good lord the kid is going to get broken in half out there. His neck and arms make him look like he's 14. 

 

Couple that with a below average arm strength and it's hopeless. By all accounts he seems like a great guy, smart, hard worker, etc. But he is just plain too small to be an NFL QB. 

 

For reference, Tua is a few inches taller and outweighs Young by 20 pounds.

I think that goes too far.  We can objectively say that Stroud is really good and that, unless he somehow turns it around, Young sucks.

Tua maybe dinged up and struggle versus the bills..  but he does well against most of the other NFL 

 

He led the league in passing yards last year.  Had 29 touchdown... Has led a team to the playoffs.....

 

Jalen hurts was it Alabama for 3 years and Oklahoma for only one... He is a crimson Tide 

 

He is also a pro bowl quarterback.. every quarterback has some issues... But he is strong in the pocket and athletic and built for the modern NFL 

 

They have two quarterbacks in the last 6 years drafted that have gone to a pro bowl...

 

Are they your typical quarterback? No

 

But they have absolutely had success when they played bro 

 

There's plenty of schools who haven't had one quarterback go to a pro bowl  or one quarterback drafted

 

Professional scouts really like tua coming out besides the size issues... You act like the NFL forced teams to draft Alabama quarterbacks 

 

Only 7 to 10 quarterbacks get drafted a year... It's not Alabama's fault they consistently get the top guys out of high school so they're always in position to get drafted

Murray, and Flutie are smaller and made/make it work. Young just lacks the speed, elusiveness and football IQ to make it work. Cardinals have been to the playoffs with Murray and Flutie got us to the playoffs twice.
