See I can't even say with certainty he's a great DC. He was the beneficiary of a great defensive roster. I always think an indicator of a coach's greatness is the fall off after they leave a position or the improvement. The 49ers defense hasn't missed a beat since he left. The Jets have a lot of talent on defense as well. I suppose you could say he developed these guys.
