Bettors Lament (or Cheers!)

Last week I thought I had two sure things:

1) Josh would throw 2+ TDs as he had for the last 13 Miami games. 
2) Both the Bills and Fins would score 1+ TDs in each half. 
 

You know what happened…..those were expensive losses. 🤣

 

Yesterday, I had a 20 team parlay that was upended when Georgia lost to the spread against Kentucky.  And had another 16 game parlay upended by Toledo over Miss. State. Those were only $5 bets that would have paid over $50 for each. 
 

Hoping for better outcomes today.

A 16-game parlay that only pays 10 to 1 seems like a bad bet…

It was mostly all moneyline on heavy favorites; every game was at least a double digit spread and I selected the favorite moneyline. Except for Georgia 😭. How else do you think I got 15/16 and 19/20 right?

Yeah it's fun to do big parlays like that 

 

But for that cash out for that amount of games isn't really worth it , except doing it for fun... It's obviously all money line on heavy favorites 

 

But there's always going to be a few games that probably don't go your way .. hence missing out on one

 

Even five game parlays are considered really big.. there's a reason why professional sharps don't even do parlays they do one game spreads usually 

 

Even if they just choose five games and play five singles

 

Mastering the spread is where it's at

There's a dozen plus pages of games.. outcomes.. parlays.. and just people who like the bet football

 

I didn't bump it all this year until I literally saw your thread 

 

So I opened it back 

 

I started 13 and 0 with all my pics against the spread last year in the thread

Rasheed Shaheed o 40.5 rec yards - easy think this hit in the 2nd Q

 

and my second pick was Fields o 47.5 rushing on FD - looking good so far

I had 200 on Houston -6 lol.  Vegas is good

I had the Bengals at +7 (bought 1/2 pt) and a teaser with KC+Hou. So KC winning by 1pt was just about perfect.

Had the Bills and Bengals and Bengals covered so this was a good week. 2 game parley so $20 paid $76.36

 

Next week, Baltimore, Buffalo and Seattle
