In 2003 they beat the pretty good Packers, their best playoff win back then but then lost to the Jake Delhomme Panthers, a team that was decent but certainly not great. Reid was lucky enough not to run into any very good teams in the playoffs back then. Though again, the 2003 Pack was a good win though that was not Green Bay's best year at all. I said that elsewhere two weeks ago. That win over Green Bay in 2003 and arguably beating the Giants with Eli in 2008 are the only two of Reid's 10 playoff wins with the Eagles where he beat a better Quarterbacked team. It's just a fact that the AFC where the road generally went through Brady, Manning and Big Ben was the tougher road at that point. So when people say "he had playoff success with McNabb" which is true, he did, you have to put that success into context. He lost to Delhomme, Kerry Collins, Brad Johnson and when he faced Warner, Brees, Rodgers, Romo - the top NFC QBs of that eera - he was 0-5.... Big Turk
Also passed Andy Reid for win percentage...of active NFL coaches with 100 or more games, McDermott has the highest win percentage. Like him, don't like him...doesn't matter...when you have winning percentages like Belichick and Reid, you are doing something right and are damn good at coaching.
