I understand it’s a positive thread for McD, but the obvious punchline is too easy, and the first thing to come to mind…just sayin…😉👍

And many will use any positives on Coach McD to use it as a straight line to a punch.

But the 2002 Eagles beat the Falcons again and lost badly to the Bucs in the Conf. championship, the 2001 Eagles beat the 9-7 Bucs, and the Dick Jauron version of the Bears before losing to the Rams. In 2003 they beat the pretty good Packers, their best playoff win back then but then lost to the Jake Delhomme Panthers, a team that was decent but certainly not great.

Reid was lucky enough not to run into any very good teams in the playoffs back then. Though again, the 2003 Pack was a good win though that was not Green Bay's best year at all.

I said that elsewhere two weeks ago. That win over Green Bay in 2003 and arguably beating the Giants with Eli in 2008 are the only two of Reid's 10 playoff wins with the Eagles where he beat a better Quarterbacked team. It's just a fact that the AFC where the road generally went through Brady, Manning and Big Ben was the tougher road at that point. So when people say "he had playoff success with McNabb" which is true, he did, you have to put that success into context. He lost to Delhomme, Kerry Collins, Brad Johnson and when he faced Warner, Brees, Rodgers, Romo - the top NFC QBs of that eera - he was 0-5....

Also passed Andy Reid for win percentage...of active NFL coaches with 100 or more games, McDermott has the highest win percentage.

Like him, don't like him...doesn't matter...when you have winning percentages like Belichick and Reid, you are doing something right and are damn good at coaching.

the Reid and Shanny parallels are really strong.

Inarguable success but can’t climb the mountaintop in the weaker conference with overall weaker QB’s.

Just read an article in the Athletic titled Lions coach Dan Campbell selling his Detroit-area home due to security concerns.  Never heard of this happening in Buffalo other than a little bit with Doug Marrone's kids in school if I recall.  If Bills fans were this bad, can you imagine all the coaches here who'd have moved.  Rex probably would have moved to Canada.

Orchard Park where most of the players live is literally a different world from the city of Buffalo

There is no east side of orchard Park lol it's as suburban as you can get
