TD716 Posted September 13 Posted September 13 I feel for Tua. I know it’s a fast moving game, but Damar Hamlin has got to stop accepting blows and tackling with his chest. 3 1 5 2 2 2 1 Quote

I get the concern there, but hard to stop in the moment, and the odds that he experiences that again are extremely rare. 5 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Honestly Hamlin needs to revert back to the 3rd safety. He’s played fine, but he doesn’t make much impact. Bishop is a much better athlete and a better pedigree of a player. 3 2 1 Quote
NORWOODS FOOT Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Cardiac Arrest, Concussions, Oh My! If I were Damar’s girlfriend I’d be afraid to lay my head on his chest: just seems like bad things happen! 2 3 2 Quote

MAJBobby Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Damar is just keeping the seat warm for Bishop. However played well last night 1 Quote

It's not like he has a condition that makes him more susceptible to heart attacks or something. This is like telling a contractor he needs to stay away from ladders because a hammer fell on his foot one time. 2 1 1 Quote

HOUSE Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Tua was going to get hurt eventually, why pick on poor Hamlin? 3 2 1 1 Quote

I think he probably approaches that tackle differently if it wasn’t a qb leading with his head. You never know with these crazy unnecessary roughness penalties these days 1 1 Quote

From my understanding it has to be a hard hit, at a specific time of a heartbeat that causes the heart to stop beating. Quote

Doc Posted September 13 Posted September 13 On the flip side, good to see that Hamlin took a blow to the chest and commotio cordis didn't happen again, for his psyche. 2 Quote

Bad call. Quote
Pasaluki Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Honestly with how thin they are at safety Hamlin is a good player to have around. I'm glad he came back to life and is still playing for the Bills, and I think he played pretty well last night. 2 2 1 Quote
