I don’t mean he’ll go on season ending ir necessarily…it just doesn’t make much sense from an optics or player safety or tua’s long term health perspective to bring him back before the bye and at that point he’s already missing 3 games. Severe concussion which is what that looked like could easily be in the 6-8 week range to clear protocol as it is

Tua will come back, relatively soon, but he won’t make it through the season, he will be concussed again and that will be that, as the saying goes, Miami doesn’t know it yet but they are in a rebuild situation and will be hoping for a serviceable new QB next season.

Joe Douglas: continues to sign old, oft injured over the hill lineman and expect different results.

Chris Grier: literally laughed and said "We're not as concerned about offensive line as you guys are.."

Eliot Wolf: "My cat's breath smells like cat food"

Jets losing to the Broncos is a big deal because of games like last night.

They don’t have to play Baltimore.  We do.

Neither does Miami.

We can downplay Miami and NYJ all we want, but they have much easier schedules than us and Tua is coming back.

Root for another Dolphins loss tonight while Tua is out, because they have the Pats next .. and then for a surprise good team in the Vikings to take down the Jets in London next week.

We may very well be a good team.. and maybe by the end of the season, with some injury luck, we’re locked and loaded for a Super Bowl run.

..but last night probably took the wind out of the sails for anyone that thought we might be some juggernaut.

We’re a good team with a tough schedule.   And we just lost a game to a team that the Jets and Dolphins don’t have to play.

Still on deck… Lions and Chiefs.

Yes, I agree.

A Dolphins loss would be great... and even-better a Jets loss vs the Vikings.

If the Bills can win in NY in 2 weeks, that would likely put a nice lead up, with having won the road games at the 2 biggest contenders and with a 1 or 2 game lead.  The Division would be firmly in the Bills' grasp (even if they lost to the Texans).

I dont think it is a certainty another concussion will happen....he made it 17 games last year.........he will not be putting his head down and running into someone though.

Tua supposedly coming back for week 8.   He’s symptom free per the reports. So that means we’ll see him Nov. 3rd for that Bills game

I don’t want to see Tua come back week 7 at Indy. That turf in Indy has always looked pretty hard to me. Better to bring him back week 8 home vs Arizona.

It will not be pretty to do life with scrambled eggs going on upstairs later in life for Tua 😰. Wish he would hang em up, even tho it’s almost always a W for us with or without him when we play the Phins. 🤷‍♂️

I don't like saying this about any sport or franchise, but i think Miami's best scenario is to tank this season and look for a QB in the draft, however, there is no real generational talent coming out next draft for QB's, so they might be in QB limbo for a while......unless they make a play for Bryce Young and that's going from bad to worse IMO.

Rodgers said his knee is a little swollen today but he will be fine.

The Vikings may beat him up even worse.

side note the bills texans game is the best of the week and its at noon.

Good. It's nice to have a break from primetime games. It will be nice to watch the Bills play a 1:00 game. Provided they win.

Your welcome, lol 😁🍸🚬👍

remember, it’s just a game, and this is a message board, we don’t have to agree all the time, we only need to treat each other decently, 👍

The pre season narratives in the media for the Jets and Dolphins were absurd. The idea that a 40 year old QB coming off an Achilles injury was going to combine with a coach who has never coached a playoff game and a couple of wash recievers (plus Garret Wilson) some how is a Super Bowl contender is laughable.

Similarly the idea that a team coached by a coach who never won a playoff game , QB by a guy who is an injury risk on every hit, and who the NFL outlawed their main offense scheme is going to finish ahead of the Bills was equally laughable.

The Bills own the AFC east.

We are here.

Can we please wait until the game is over. Thanks.

The game was over when Cook took it 65 yards for the TD.

That would be a dream as the Steelers have been Lamar’s biggest challenge historically
