I saw another data summary dated 2020 and the home win % on TNF was pretty much the same as overall win % regardless of day. 
 

I think the NFL tries to schedule mostly divisional games to moderate the travel disadvantage.

I like having a game on Thursday for entertainment reasons, but in regards to fairness and player safety, it's honestly pretty ridiculous.

 

I would propose that the teams playing on Thursday night (as much as possible) should have a bye the week before
