I like him, from a strategic stand point I cant help but wonder if maybe letting him walk after this year and letting Grable/VanDemark take over could have been a good option.  They are unknowns but you cannot/should not sign every "good" player to big contracts.

It happens, whole OL seemed off , personally happy about the contract, if this becomes a trend w Brown, worry will set in. But no reason it will or should.

Brown has been incredible. Honestly besides Sewell and Lane Johnson (which if this keeps up he will surpass) I believe he’s been the 3rd best RT in the game!

I was one of the people on the fence about this deal when it was signed, and not because I didn’t like Brown. It was more about opportunity cost of re-signing other players (e.g. Benford, Bernard, Rousseau, WR, etc.). 
 

I was dead wrong.

A great aspect of his game that's been coming on is something lot of guys don't even get to work on, go out with Allen on those plays were Allen is extending it to the right he's great. Buying time, finding a way back into the play even if it's just get in the way and buy Allen that moment he needs to get positive out of the down.

Every player in the NFL is a freak athlete. Spencer Brown's size/speed/strength combination makes him a freak amongst freaks. He seems to be on track to hit the ceiling that his athleticism allows for, which is incredible for the Bills.

He also brought a long absent nastiness to the Bills. It has been contagious on that offensive line.

I thought for him to live up to that contract he would need to become one of the very best RTs in the league. He's done that this year and now the contract if anything looks like a bargain.
