Von Miller proves the doubters wrong

Not running through any stats here just from the eye test.  Said it before keep AJ on the right side and Groot and Miller on the left.  They all seem to benefit from it.

I think Miller is going to make some plays in the playoffs and we will be happy to have him. Playing against Denver in the Wildcard game could add something to the tank for Miller.

And this is the first post-season where he is available completely healthy.   Hoping for a break out playoffs by Von.   Go Bills !!!

i definitely expect his snap count to increase. This is the reason they signed him in the first place. We finally get to see a healthy Von for the playoff run.

Why do I? I think I have been right. Good rush on Sunday though. I am not against giving him credit where it is due. But in terms of real impact on the season... has he made any?

 

He still has a chance to do so in the playoffs. Here's hoping.

Von has gotten the majority of, but not all, of his short range quickness back, but does not seem to be well conditioned.  He’s getting winded after a few downs and regularly has nothing left at the end of the play. This will limit his snap count to around what it has been in the playoffs.

Yes. When he's on the field he's clearly making an impact. Obviously. You're being stubborn if you don't think so.

 

He played 14 snaps against the Jets. In those 14 snaps he had a sack, a QB hit, and one TFL between his 2 tackles.

 

Against Kansas City in the biggest game of the season he did the exact same thing.

 

He's played 35% of snaps this season and in the snaps he's actually on the field you can feel his impact in almost every game he's played.

 

He's obviously not living up to his Contract and isn't Prime Von Miller, but he's MUCH more impactful than you insisted he would be in the offseason.

After his sack he was breathing heavily for several minutes on the bench. Not a good sign.

He’s not going to get significantly more snaps. He’s a situation pass rush specialist who has a good outside move and not much else. I don’t expect a lot from him in the playoffs other than what we have seen.

He literally has the easiest job in sports - just play on obvious passing downs; line up wide; and tackle the qb (or even get near him) once or twice and he is a star. 

I get the move but it has been one of the worst signings in Bills history. Hopefully, he can do something to justify it at some point.

Correct. His 14 snaps and 22% of snaps were both the second lowest of the 12 games he's played this year.

 

I expect a low snap count in the finale as well.

He got hurt. He was in the running for dpoy in 22 before getting hurt. 

 

His pass rushing metrics and eye test say he's very close to fully back. 

 

Obviously at 35 he's pacing himself and it's undeniable that he has flashed prime Von in spots this year.

 

His sack vs the jets is prime Von.

 

He will be sitting vs the pats and be ready for the playoffs 

 

If Von Miller helps buffalo wins the Superbowl he's going to go down as the greatest pass rusher of all time

Of course you count the entire injury period and his ramping back up to be able to play again, which is patently disingenuous, he certainly didn’t get hurt on purpose, is he paid a lot? Yes he is, but it’s not  your or my money, so who gives a fuh k…, he is light years better right now at his chosen sport than you have ever been in your life. i also expect we show different looks w the back 7.  4-3, taron kinda flexing between NCB and safety, maybe hamlin rapp and bishop in on a big nickel, stuff like that.
