NewEra Posted October 3 Posted October 3 This is good news for our team. 4 less chances of him getting injured. Sucks for him, being a scumbag and all. 1 1 1 Quote
HIT BY SPIKES Posted October 3 Posted October 3 He simply isn't a difference maker anymore. Oh well. Quote

PoundingDog Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Not sure they are going to roll him out there this Sunday. To be safe, wouldn't you ramp him up by letting him practice for a week? Hasson Riddick of the Jets didn't play the Steelers game, but I do admit it's a bit different for Von who had the whole training camp and played the first 4 games. Quote

It's not like he was injured, he's just been waiting around to play, working out, staying in shape, and probably studying film. He's got to be itching to get out there and cause havoc. 2 7 Quote

His highest snap count pre-suspension was 29. I think he will be active this week and play 20 snaps or so. This is their plan with Von anyway. Let Smoot (on early downs) and AJE (on passing downs) do a lot of the work. Rotate Von in situationally. Keep him fresh for the post season and hope he can make an impact at that point. The more interesting question is who sits? Personally it would be Toohill but I suspect it will be Solomon. Especially the next couple of weeks where I think the Bills plan will reflect what they did in Seattle - try and take away the run and make Tua / Flacco beat them. PromoTheRobot Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Rousseau is more Von than Von right now. But any contribution above zero helps. Quote
Allen2Moulds Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I feel like a lot of people are still bitter about last year. I love what I saw in the 1st 4 games. We need to bring the good vibes back. 2 1 2 1 Quote

Blackbeard Posted October 30 Posted October 30 You put him out there for sure. It's the SAME reason they put out Cooper right away. He's a distraction and opens up other guys. You play him. 1 Quote
Dillenger4 Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Von will play this week no doubt. He will get at least 1 sack. Dude is pumped and ready to play! 1 Quote
