gonzo1105 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 (edited) So, since this offseason was such a hotly debated topic about rookie WR's and this draft class, I thought I would create an excel spreadsheet that I will update weekly to see how the class is progressing. It's only the first week so the spreadsheet is very barren right now. Edit*** Added all WR's, Targets, Team they are currently on for Week 2 per people's requests. Updated through Week 8. Sorry I was on a Med/Balkans vacation for 2 1/2 weeks. All numbers have been updated on the spreadsheet. WR Stats 2024 Season.xlsx Edited October 29 by gonzo1105 1 1 2 Quote

I didn't include guys who went before the Bills pick as the intention of this is to see what the players the Bills could have selected are doing throughout the season. I also put it in a spreadsheet versus just posting it on here. Let me know if you want to see anything else added. entropyrules Posted September 9 Posted September 9 any chance when you update the sheet next week you could add the team they play for..I know I could look it up so feel free to scold me for laziness Quote

Alphadawg7 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 (edited) Nice work I would definitely add targets because then you can add in YPC, YPT, and Catch % as all those will all auto calculate off the same data you are already entering (assuming you added targets too) once you add the equation in to the fields. Maybe games played and games started if you wanted too. Edited September 9 by Alphadawg7 Quote
No_Matter_What Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Nice job @gonzo1105. I would start the same thread later. I am happy you did it since now I have same results with much less effort If I may suggest I would include players taken before Coleman. Maybe he outperforms Thomas or even top 3 and it would be a shame not to see it. Adding teams is a must and I'd also add at least game played for some context. Thanks a lot! Quote

Personally, I would include all of the rookie WR's as I think many wanted to see us trade up. I know, it's easy to volunteer work for others 😛 Quote
Lost Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I agree with @Virgil, I would at least include guys like Brian Thomas who were within Bills reach for trading up. So might as well include everyone. Quote
gonzo1105 Posted September 17 Author Posted September 17 Bump for Week 2. I added all the WR's including the first 4 guys. Added the teams that they play for since that was requested and also added targets. Week 2 Spreadsheet attached to original post. 2 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted September 24 Author Posted September 24 Bumped for Week 3. Starting to see some separation from the top guys from the rest of the pack. Coleman falling down the board but its mostly due to lack of targets as he has been efficient when getting the ball. Spreadsheet updated on the original post. Quote
Conlan58 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Just checked out the spreadsheet - excellent work! This will be fun to keep up on all season! Wonder when the 49ers give Pearsall a shot... Too soon? Quote

GunnerBill Posted October 21 Posted October 21 This game definitely helps Coleman's numbers. And I'll say it again.... having a legitimate outside receiver who means Keon can be used more between the numbers in tight splits on slants and crossers plays MUCH better to his strengths than having him run vertically on the outside. The best facets of his game are his body control and athleticism at the catch point and with ball in hand. Quote
