Can we really judge Bass in Sunday's weather?

Yes. The same reason we drafted Allen. Power. Either you can throw & kick the crap out of the ball, or you are weak and the wind owns you. Good kickers can manage the wind like a good QB can. This is the NFL. No excuses.

Bass has a critical job in BUFFALO!

On the playing field chosen by management.

In the Weather conditions chosen by God & the Weather Channel.

You are what you are, no matter what the conditions or time of year.

Perform at a high level… or begone!

I would say the best way to gauge Bass on any particular Sunday would be to measure his performance against the opposing kicker who is playing in identical conditions.
if the other team’s guy is splitting the uprights, but Bass is shanking them, on the field and in conditions he should be more familiar with….well, draw your own conclusions.

For the Cardinal game it will be 64 degrees and sunny.  Great Fall day.

But, winds will be 20-25 mph from the West.  We all know how our stadium handles wind.  I'm hoping the game doesn't come down to FG's.

Oh, he will be judged. Especially if he struggles while Arizona's kicker doesn't.
