Dr.Sack Posted September 8 Posted September 8 (edited) Yes. The same reason we drafted Allen. Power. Either you can throw & kick the crap out of the ball, or you are weak and the wind owns you. Good kickers can manage the wind like a good QB can. This is the NFL. No excuses. Edited September 8 by Dr.Sack Quote

Billsatlastin2018 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 (edited) Bass has a critical job in BUFFALO! On the playing field chosen by management. In the Weather conditions chosen by God & the Weather Channel. You are what you are, no matter what the conditions or time of year. Perform at a high level… or begone! Rich Stadium Original Posted September 8 Posted September 8 You mean kinda like when Jake Elliot hit the 59 yarder in the Eagles Bills game in that rainy mess last year??.. 1 1 Quote
GolfandBills Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Lots of kickers in northern climate had 90% + last season. Zero excuses for Bass 1 Quote
SoMAn Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I would say the best way to gauge Bass on any particular Sunday would be to measure his performance against the opposing kicker who is playing in identical conditions. if the other team’s guy is splitting the uprights, but Bass is shanking them, on the field and in conditions he should be more familiar with….well, draw your own conclusions. We all know how our stadium handles wind. I'm hoping the game doesn't come down to FG's. Oh, he will be judged. Especially if he struggles while Arizona's kicker doesn't. Quote
frostbitmic Posted September 8 Posted September 8 On one end of the field Bass will be wide right, on the other end the wind should push the ball back between the posts. Quote
Mr. WEO Posted September 8 Posted September 8 remember when Bass's erratic kicking was his holder's fault? ah yes.....good times. 1 Quote

RiotAct Posted September 8 Posted September 8 very good game today by Bass. That FG at the end was clutch to force Arizona to have to go for a TD. 1 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 He was good today outside of the kickoff. I was happy he buried the kick to go up 6 that kick had some pressure to it Quote
Warcodered Posted September 8 Posted September 8 It was a game where he needed to make some clutch FGs and he did....🤷♂️ 1 Quote
