It's really time to lock in the entire O-line, it won't get any better than this

How many ashtrays are we under the cap?

It has been a LONG time since we have had this quality and depth. I’m sure it’s a combination of selection and coaching with Kromer.

He was our best player against Baltimore IMO. Has been our 2nd best overall player this season. As a non-premium position I needed him to become an elite player to live up to that contract. Well, he got there. In fact he's a legit difference maker. Kromer is a miracle worker.

Brown is willing to go to war for his teammates which is awesome, because of his size he can push dudes around he learned to leverage properly. Imagine if Tommy Doyle stays healthy and develops, 2 6ft 8, 310-320 dudes just pushing guys around with the shnow plow.

The chiefs talking heads are talking about the players THEY did not have the regular season matchup.

Yeah Ryan Van Demark did a steady job in that game but it's no coincidence we had our worst rushing efficiency of the season against KC. We just imposed our will against the two best run defenses in the league. I don't expect us to let up this weekend.

Actually, given the how lethal Josh is when rolling out to his right, I think Brown may be playing a premium position at RT - a situation unique to the Bills.

That's an interesting thought. And Spencer is really good at repositioning for the roll out and finding ways to continue blocking in both pass pro and when he runs.

It seems like Brown realized he could over commit to any kind of rush move to outside by the edge rusher because if he does get beat on a reverse or spin to an inside move, Allen recognizes the defense has lost contain and will drift or flat out break the pocket to his right and he is deadly outside the pocket on that side.

So Brown now has a real advantage on any outside move and can get away with getting beat inside to the extent that it almost seems like they are baiting defenders into taking an inside rush so Allen can do his thing. Maybe this was happening before but I really noticed it this year.

yeah I loved the pick and the upside and thought the criticism was a little much and definitely too early…there were a few who just kept quiet as others proclaimed he wasn’t gonna pan out

Oh well, that’s life.. I was worried about McGovern and not only has he there been no drop off from Morse, he looks to be an upgrade.

If you were creating a tackle in a lab, you'd get something that looks a lot like Brown. He's the prototype.

People have no patience. Back injuries are brutal for lineman and it took some time to get over. He was also as raw as a prospect gets. He switched from TE, played very little college ball at a tiny school and had sat out the covid year before being drafted. He was always going to need some time to develop but he was the ideal block of clay to mold.

Side bonus is that IMO he's brought out the best in Dawkins, who is having a career season.

Besides Josh, if the Bills win the SB this year, it’s all about the Oline.  They have been dominating.

This has to be the best group of starters and backups we have ever had.  The depth is outstanding and they are all on rookie contacts or are ERFA's. We can expect next year to be as good or better with the young guys having more experience.  Even the PS guys are pretty interesting, so I'll be surprised if Beane considers OL in the draft before the 6th round, if at all.  It will be interesting to see if there are real camp battles next summer.

Regarding Brown, I've always liked him, but thought there was a chance Beane would let him test the market based on the way Van Demark filled in last year.  This could have made sense based on the cap savings, but clearly would have been a terrible move.  Just another example that Beane is one of the very best in the league!
