I still find it hilarious Eric Mangini knows Woody Johnson so well he predicted he'd fire Saleh if they lost that London game and sure enough they did and he did. Like you all understand how bad he must be if folks like Mangini know you that well they can predict things like that? The Jets aren't going to get solved until they get a new slate, new GM, cut Rodgers, and new HC.

The owner is the problem. As long as Johnson owns them, they will continue to suck. What good GM/HC who will have options will choose the Jets and work for an owner who always meddles in the football decisions.

Its amazing to me how many of you guys are treating Saleh and Douglas like some sort of martyrs in the situation.   Saleh was a bad coach who deserved to be fired after last season.   Total meathead who thought he was one of the players.   Douglas had an insane amount of top 15 draft picks while he was there and couldnt do the one thing GMs of bad teams have to do to keep their job, draft a QB.     If either of those two are taking some sort of joy in how bad continues to be after they were fired they need to take a long look in the mirror.

Super Bowl aspirations to 4-12 is really hard to do lol

Biggest underachiever spends the next year in the CFL or UFL? 🤔😁

Why is the owner at fault here..unless he pushed Rodgers on Saleh and Douglas.

He did push Rodgers on Saleh and Douglas. It was reported at the time by the NY media that Saleh and Douglas wanted to sign Carr who also would have been an upgrade over Wilson. But Johnson overruled them and said they were going all in for Rodgers.

There is no hope for this crap team. Good win yesterday, was not surprising. Good luck in the playoffs!

You're no fun.  We need more Jets fans like Spags.  Why can't you predict that when the Jets hire Rex Ryan they will be putting themselves on track to be undefeated in 2025 and win Super Bowl 60?

I'm not sure Carr is that much of an upgrade.

Jets owner is the problem. He should do the honorable thing and step down.

He needs to sell the team.  If Woody just "steps down" or "steps away" (as he is supposed to do to become an ambassador), his son(s) and other minions will run the team according to Woody's general wishes.

Woody Johnson has owned the Jests for all of this century.  He's picked the GMs and likely had significant input on hiring HCs.  He's known to exert his power in player personnel decisions, too. The Jests have the longest active playoff drought in major professional sports ... 14 years.

I think that Carr would be a definite upgrade in the locker room, which could very well have resulted in the Jests having more wins than they do now.  Carr's former teammates have all loved him.  As others have said, Rodgers is an egotistical ass.

Carr would have been an upgrade in the sense that he would be been a better team mate and got better results from Wilson and Hall.

Rodgers selfish instinct showed even on that first drive on the final 3rd down incomplete pass.   He kept staring at the receiver and throwing expletives at him.

All of the Jets woes is just amplified with Sam Darnold saying, "How do you like me now!".

Darnold has a real OL in front of him at Minnesota.  The Jets historically have ignored building the OL or have not been successful with it.  Any QB will get killed behind that weak OL

The Sam Darnold redemption story has been fun to watch. I'm really happy for him. Was awesome to see the team hoist him up after the game this week.

Even better that it's yet another dagger into the gut of the Jets org. Just shows that players simply cant succeed on that team.

You have a 40 year old qb coming off injury and they spend good money on 2 late 30’s tackles who cant stay healthy?  For how great a roster they have, it is really 4-6 players.  Douglas drafted Wilson and traded for Rodgers.   Never built an oline, had a dline  but lost it for Rodgers “guys”.
