As crazy as it sounds there are Jets fans lobbying for the team to hire Rex Ryan - the same way that Indy hired Jeff Saturday season. Rex also seems to be lobbying for the position (or any coaching position) on ESPN. Woody Johnson has made some bad decisions or horrible hires. But having Rex close out the season would be elite Quote

I've said for a while I think he will get a serious look and I don't mean just as the interim. I think they'll consider him as the long term replacement too. Quote

A well trained chimp might give them better odds than their current owner. 1 Quote

Trying to make a player do something he isn't very good at versus letting him do what he is really good at is what bad teams do. Not surprising that the Cardinals drafted him. See my comment above. papazoid Posted October 29 Posted October 29 the #1 reason the jets are playing below expectations is Aaron Rodgers. starting with going to Egypt instead of training camp....especially after missing all of last year with the achilles. then throwing your WR's under the bus for not being on the same page as you. his talent is now mediocre at best and his leadership is horrible. 1 Quote
Beast Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I’m hoping Rodgers gets sacked, gets up, and quits. Just walks off the field during the middle of a game. That would give me great pleasure to see. Especially if it was in Orchard Park later this year. 1 Quote

Even the script writers would say that’s too hilarious Quote
