Hey, there's hope for a post-Jets Renaissance a la Sam Darnold/Geno Smith. Don't tell me that media circus would not be made in heaven Quote
Just Jack Posted November 12 Posted November 12 I wonder if a team has ever fired their head coach and interim head coach in the same season. 1 2 Quote

Not everyone will care, but I would imagine there will be some teams that shy away from inviting that circus to town. Quote
stlbills13 Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Aaron Rodgers has been in the NFL for 20 seasons and has appeared in one Super Bowl but somehow the Jets, Jets fans, and media members thought that at the age of 39/40/41, he would be able to lead them even to the playoffs. It is a little crazy though to be that bad with a top 10 WR, RB, CB, DL. I thought they'd be a perennial .500 team with Rodgers but instead they're playing for draft position in early November. Quote

They don't have a top 10 RB. But yea Wilson, Williams, Gardner are top guys at their positions (although Sauce hasn't had that kinda season). Quote

That defense absolutely collapsed which didn’t help either. I have no problem with Aaron getting all the blame though 😂 1 Quote

Jests fans and the NY media have been spinning Super Bowl dreams based on total fantasy since they won their SB back in 1969. Quote

And some Bills fans would prefer that to all of the Superbowls Bills were in but lost. Different tastes including bitter for different people. Quote

The past 2 off seasons they (media/Jets fans) have been hyping this team up like they were a Super Bowl contender. It's why watching them fail makes it that much sweeter. I like watching the Dolphins and Patriots struggle as well but those teams weren't hyped up like the Jets were. The good news is we won't have to listen to another off season of the Jets being hyped again. Reality has now set in for that organization and fanbase and it isn't pretty. 1 Quote

With all the top draft picks they've had in recent years the team has tons of talent, but there is no unity nothing tying it together, it's just a bunch of guys. 1 Quote
