You seen what happens when a good team plays Houston?  The Jets is coming after youse and it ain’t gonna take long.  No refs is gonna give you another game from us next time.  How many times is Davante gonna house it on your trash DB’s?

Did anyone else enjoy that beatdown the Cardinals put on the Jets yesterday. Let's hope the Rams do the same thing tonight to the Fish.

Division rivals

we can argue about the rival part currently, however they are in deep with rodgers cap wise for two years after this season. something like ~$49m ($14 next year, ~$35 the following) in dead money if he walks or they outright cut him.

firing Saleh early in the season was the dumbest move possible

You lose the guy truly running the defense, and now the figurehead DC has to ACTUALLY be the DC and also a first time HC in the middle of a season with all sorts of turmoil created by the decision.

As a result the Jets D now stinks.

I'm not a huge Saleh fan or anything, but the guy had that defense ready to play and had them in (distant) playoff contention last year without playing offense all season once Rodgers went down. The D carried the team and had an outside shot until very late in the season of getting them the 7 seed. That's without fielding an NFL offense all year.

This interim HC is way over his head and it shows.

Over on the gang green msg board there is no denial going on.  They hate rodgers.

Just checked it out and they are already to the point they are talking about letting Sauce Gardner walk since there's no point in keeping him when the team sucks so bad.

Warms my heart.

LOL

While obviously not a f an of keeping and paying a CB. I just keep thinking what it would look like if we generated more pressure via blitzing and free runners. I just hate the zone concept. I see we are blitzing more but still feel we are just so passive with the amount of injuries we have. Scheme change might be what he needs. The defense is boring to play in..no excitement generated for us or the players.

I know Brian Flores has his flaws but that defense is so fun to watch. Him or Ben Johnson are the next coaches i want to destroy and run out of town in 3-5 years

Saleh was in over his head from day 1.  He wasn't hired to run the Defense---he was hired to be HC and win games.  On game days, he was terrible, clueless.  His teams are undisciplined.  There's no reason to believe Saleh would have them at a better record right now.  The Offense still stinks. Rodgers is washed.

I have been very vocal about how I thought Salah was a terrible HC and deserved to be fired. That said, he should have been fired in January if they wanted to do it. Waiting until week 6 with a season with expectations this high is just admitting you messed up. Everyone knows that who staff are out next year. Rodgers has been ok, but the rest of the team has checked out. Very poor decision to move on that early in the season
