Mat68 Posted September 5 Posted September 5 31-10 Buffalo. Buffalo comes out fast and the offense looks more efficient. Coleman has a big debut. The defense forces some turnovers. 1 Quote

The Bills get the ball out of half and get a TD on a 6:30 min drive which Shakir does his thing on a nice 30 yard TD, but the Cards come down field and get a FG to make it 20-10 heading into the fourth. The offense again gets a lengthy drive but it stalls and Bass hits a 41 yard FG to make it 23-10 with 9 mins to go. The Cards hang around as they score on a McBride TE on 4th down with 5mins left to close the gap to 23-17. The offense is able to run the clock out and the Bills win a close game that has the locals feeling a little nervous after. Allen 303 yds 24-34 2 TDs 15 yards rush Cook 72 yards 14 att Shakir 91 yards 8 rec 1 TD Groot 2 sacks Love this... I feel like I dont even need to watch as this is totally what could happen... LOL I am serious.... I think we have some struggles in this game, I think its only a smidgen in doubt but not one of those lay back and watch the a$$ whoopin games either. And Bass totally misses something he shouldnt. Quote
ProcessImproverMan Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Bills 24 Cardinals 20 Bass misses another field goal. Bills defense rebounds from last year and gets a key stop late, intercepting Murray in the red zone to ice the game with Hamlin making a clutch play to steal one from Harrison Jr. 1 Quote

A win is a win. Agree. With our WR room, I'm not expecting receivers running open all over the field. And with our OL, I'm not expecting Josh to repeatedly stand untouched in beautiful, clean pockets scanning the field for 4 seconds before choosing which open receiver to throw to. Brady will do some interesting things but he won't (yet) have anyone thinking we have the next Don Coryell or Bill Walsh running our offense. But there will be enough good things going on - starting with Josh - to score in the high 20s. Defense will be solid because McD is good at scheme and getting guys to execute their roles and communicate. But there just isn't enough talent on the D to hold a healthy Murray and the Cards to two scores or less. 1 Quote

I didn’t even see this. Cardinals 31 Bills 13 Murray reminds everyone what he can do with offensive weapons, and he shows off with the best new one in the league. Scrambling all around our line, Hamlin reminds us just how out of position he can play and gets torched multiple times. Josh has a decent game, throwing for over 300 yards, but can’t find anyone to step up in the red zone. Cook turns it over twice in the red zone, while Bass missed a chip shot before halftime, setting the tone for the rest of the game. 1 Quote

entropyrules Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Really infinitesimal probability that the Cards win this one but then again it is the Bills. Bills 27 Cards 19 99.99999% chance Cards 28 Bills 27 with a Hail Mary winner by Murray 0.00001% chance 1 Quote
Cheektowaga Chad Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Bills 28 Cards 22 Bills have 14 pt lead pretty much all game, then the cards cut it to 6 with about a minute left in the game to give fans just enough of a scare 1 Quote
