Freddie's Dead
It's that time again fellow TBDians!!! The 2024 NFL regular season is upon us, and with that, it's time for everyone's favorite thread, PREDICT THE SCORE! Look at this studio filled with fabulous prizes! (not really 😉) I looked back over a few of the Bills previous opening day performances, and they are decidedly schizoid. Will they come out flat and lose in a blowout? Come out flat and squeak out a win? Come out flat and let Zack Wilson Kyler Murray beat them? If you sense a pattern, you'd be right. The Bills come out flat, especially in a preseason where Josh and his brand new receivers had like 10 plays together. But I just can't believe that the Cards come into OP and steal a win week 1. The Bills struggle, but ultimately pull away for the win. Cards - 16 Beews - 24 1

Big Turk
Bills 34 Cards 20 Still remember the Camarillo punt game back in the days where his punts went for like 5 yards because they got caught up in the wind and blown backwards 😂 Edited September 4 by Big Turk 3

Process
Some normal week 1 sluggishness vs a weak NFC team, before putting a stomping on the dolphins in Week 2. Bills 24-17
strive_for_five_guy
Bills 27 Cards 20 Not a dominant performance, defense makes a late play to hold them off. A win is a win.
SoCal Deek
In a year where so many (including myself) predict a slow start with a huge learning curve, the Bills do the most Billsy of things and win in a Week One blow out: Bills 42 Cardinals 10 Dare I say…..cakewalk?
corta765
Bills 23 Cards 17 Cards get an early 7-0 lead but Buffalo goes into half up 13-7 on the back of an Allen TD to Knox and a Gilliam TD run from the goal line (Bass misses the extra point). The Bills get the ball out of half and get a TD on a 6:30 min drive which Shakir does his thing on a nice 30 yard TD, but the Cards come down field and get a FG to make it 20-10 heading into the fourth. The offense again gets a lengthy drive but it stalls and Bass hits a 41 yard FG to make it 23-10 with 9 mins to go. The Cards hang around as they score on a McBride TE on 4th down with 5mins left to close the gap to 23-17. The offense is able to run the clock out and the Bills win a close game that has the locals feeling a little nervous after. Allen 303 yds 24-34 2 TDs 15 yards rush Cook 72 yards 14 att Shakir 91 yards 8 rec 1 TD Groot 2 sacks 1

Roundybout
Bills 31-21. McBride will likely feast against our depleted secondary but their defense overall is atrocious.
GASabresIUFan
31 - 10. The Bills remember their opening game failure last season and Josh has a great game throwing to 8 different players and the Bills control the clock, the game and the scoreboard sending a message to AFC that this year is not a step back in the slightest.

MJS
Bills - 23 Cardinals - 20 Lots of offensive struggles for the Bills as they are trying to mesh all the new pieces, but the run game is a big strength to lean on. The defense dominates for most of it, but gives up a few big plays. The Cardinals have a late score to make it look closer than it actually was. 2
