The picture gets even better if you are local to your team; you can drop Sunday Ticket, and if you are willing to take your chances on an ABC simulcast, you’ll see all games for $19/month (streaming exclusives are also shown OTA to local markets). Back then you needed guaranteed sellouts to see all your teams games on TV. Now, it’s certainly not easier tracking all these subscriptions and apps, and I am assuming your internet connection _is_ a utility, which is true for most households. But there is less money coming out of your pocket today than there has ever been since all games have been available. The NFL is getting more money by 1) cutting out the middle-man cable/satellite company, and 2) getting way higher rights deals fueled by higher advertising rates on national broadcasts. I'd be perfectly happy with only being able to see Bills games and whatever games are nationally or locally broadcast. My interest in the greater, non-Bills NFL has diminished over the years. They are wildly greedy. They ONLY care about maximizing profit, and they care nothing about fan experience, loyalty, "the integrity of the game", player safety, or anything along those lines. Their sole concern is making the most money they possibly can, no matter how much it waters down the product, endangers the players, or alienates the fans. I firmly believe that one day, like Icarus, they will fly too close to the sun and their wings will burn. I will never watch a game that takes place out side of the US that could possibly promote more of the same . Plus that is a game you are taking away from the US fans that have been fans & supported this team some their entire lives even as kids ! This is all a greed based move by the NFL to IMHO 1 day expand the league to foreign countries which they have already had & that was NFL Europe . Go for that have a totally different league in Europe and after both leagues have their individual Super Bowls have the 2 winners of those games play and call it the World Championship Bowl but i absolutely hate the fact that games are in other countries, stadiums, time zones, to take away a game from the American fans that have supported the team no matter what ! I don't even watch the Bills games if they are out of the country, hell look at what happened last time they played in London . Millano, Jones & others went down and didn't play the rest of the season . Nope keep it America's game ! Should stay at 16 games, 2 preseason and 2 bye weeks. Playoffs with 6 teams per conference with 2 bye teams like it was in the past. Teams sometimes get hot at right time and sometimes teams make playoffs because they are playing schedule for 4th in division schedule with weak opposite conference schedule. Is that a fault of the AWS scheduling, weakness of their division or just luck? There have been times when every team in a division has had winning records and a team not making it. I will occasionally watch an MLB game but only if it is free. The NHL has entered the chat.
