Welcome to the internet in 2025.  AI-generated crap is everywhere.

Let's not down play the poster poster crap as well

Let's just assume for a moment that Diggs has had something of a epiphany -- that he is willing to be a good soldier, bury the hatchet with Josh and the team, and return to the level of play he exhibited in his prime. Is that good enough to help the team get over the KC hump?

Well, even in his best years, Diggs historically had problems against KC. In three playoff games against them (2020, 2021 and 2023), he failed to haul in a single TD pass. His overall numbers in those 3 games were terrible: 12 receptions on 25 targets for 106 yards and 0 TDs. That is over 3 games, NOT a single game. His average for a single game in the playoffs against the Chiefs looks like: 4 receptions on 8.3 targets for 35.3 yards. Not exactly worthy of the drama.

Lol. I just read an article on TWSN titled "New York Jets Signing Stephon Diggs." From the headline it sounded like fact and I came here because normally someone posts on TSW before I see it elsewhere. Not seeing it mentioned, I went back and actually read the article. It was total conjecture and was just saying it would be a great move.

I've seen a number of those "articles" lately.  Usually, ace reporter no name from obscure website/news agency has proposed that team pursue free agent/trade for player to help bolster their defense/offense is the standard layout.

AND... it usually entails a major market team (like the Jets, Giants, Redskins, Cowboys etc.) because there is a lot of clicks generated by teasing those fan bases.

It's very hard for me to envision a scenario under which Diggs returns to the Bills.  Nothing about it would make any sense.

Any new receiver the Bills get at this point is coming through the draft. IMHO.

If I had to grade Diggs top 3 skills it’s…

1.  Route running

2.  Trolling

3.  Catching

Even discussing him coming back is exactly what he wants.  I loved Diggs while he was here but I guarantee you he has absolutely no interest in coming back here (and the feeling might be mutual with the team).  But he hasn’t been signed yet and you throw a few pictures back up on your Instagram and look he’s right back on the cover page of everything.  Mission accomplished.

Still love Diggs.  But it ain’t happening.

I agree I don't see it happening at least for now... I could see some scenario mid year when he is ready to come back and we have injuries taking him back for vet min like a Beasley and Smoke thing but other than a whacked out scenario like that no way...

They sell palm trees at WNY Lowes and Home Depot. A few different kinds too. It's not steady or consistent, but last year they had a bunch.

The team was happier paying him millions to not play for them vs fill a spot last season.  I can’t see any path to them leaning into this, not even on a vet minimum deal.

The cap space we lost by moving him was something like 3 million.  The rest of the money was accounted for and not available whether or not he was on the roster

I might be in the minority but I have no emotional thoughts about Diggs coming back, good or bad. I didn’t have emotions when he left. If they bring him back on a team-friendly deal, fine. If they don’t, fine. He was a great player. He, likely, isn’t a great player anymore.

I don’t care about social media or everybody eats or anything like that. If he can help the team at the right number, I’m in. If not, the Bills should pass. Decisions should be made ONLY through the lens of, “what needs to be done to win a Super Bowl?” Nothing else matters
