I think thats just insane. His departure is what allowed Josh to feel more comfortable as the undisputed leader of this team. You don’t risk messing with that for an old WR off a major injury. Who knows if he’s ever close to the version he once was.

I know it’s not going to happen and I don’t even think it wouod be smart. I’m just saying, after cooler heads prevailed if for some reason they wanted it…I’d forgive. I probably didn’t word that right

It's irrelevant that you'd forgive him. Unless you're not a Bills fan,why would you want to weaken the Bills? Getting rid of Diggs was a great example of addiction by subtraction. Talented cancers are still cancerous and ultimately make the team worse.

Exactly. The distraction alone wouldn't be worth it. Imagine the questions all year long. Every freaking press conference Allen would be asked if he and Diggs are still getting along and how did the year away from each other help or hurt them.

Hard pass. I’d rather have pretty much anybody but Diggs. Keep him away.

That’s sort of a false equivalency. I mean if the guy came in as the 2nd outside WR and wasn’t an issue he would in no way weaken the bills. It was a half joke and it’s never going to happen but if you want to do this, let’s not be dumb. The guy is still one of the better players in the league. He’s not what he was in 2020 but don’t for one second act like he’s not better than some of the options we had at WR. We would have gotten more out of him than Cooper. Again, not my first choice, never going to happen, not worth 5 conversations over and was mostly half kidding…don’t act dumb about him not helping.

well your statement has just increased the odds exponentially…of Diggs coming back here

just like when it was impossible for Diggs to be traded

Is he even going to be ready to play this season? & how effective will he be after an ACL.

I’d guess the IG thing is him reflecting on being traded to the Bills on this date

he tore it pretty early in the year so he probably has a pretty good shot to start the year. But I wouldn’t hate the idea.

Not sure but I'll never doubt that guy's work ethic.  I wouldn't bet against him.  Close to zero percent chance he plays here again but I could see him as a Cowboy or Patriot.

I’m sure he’d be super content to be the 4th or 5th wide receiver in an “everybody eats” offense.  And I’m sure the Bills would be super content with having him in the same receiver room as a young and impressionable Keon.

You know when to get rid off stuff that has gone rotten, and after you throw out that trash, it is taken to the dump.  Leave the trash where it is.  The smell has gotten better at One Bills Drive since this rotten trash is now gone too.

IMO if Diggs reached out to Beane, Sean and Josh saying he’s sorry for _______

and expressed a desire to come here with “unfinished business” and “I want to finish my career as a Bill”

I could see us being open to that.

still would be shocking
