You know he’s going to be way more affordable and he knows the offense. The guy is a top 3 WR in the history of this organization. If he wanted to and Josh wanted him back, I’d be all for it. You come in and play your role. You are no longer the A1 option but if he wanted to come in and play alongside of Keon? I’m good. Assuming Cooper isn’t back obviously Or, you take that money and use it to extend Shakir. 4 Quote

Assuming Cooper isn’t back obviously I liked the first six words of your post but you lost me after that. I appreciate Diggs' talent. But Beane and McD decided to pay him $31 million this year. By my standards, that's a lot of money. And they paid him to go away - to play for someone else. I don't know what was going on in the locker room but when a team pays a player millions to go play for another team, that tells you something. 2 Quote

MikePJ76 Posted December 17 Posted December 17 So it turns out last year when Steve's bro Trevon was busy on twitter saying his brother has to get up out of their and away from Allen.....He was dogging his rehab. So the team was upset with him because he was not where he was supposed to be health wise and it was his own doing. Then he struggled all season until tearing his ligament again last week. Now he may miss all of next year. There is also speculation he will get cut in the offseason with a june 1st designation saving Dallas 10 million on the cap. So the big mouth Diggs brothers may both be free agents next summer. 1 1 Quote

Despite you calling Stefon "Steve" which was funny, this is a tale as old as time... players who think they are above doing what is required getting slapped in the face with hubris. You're only as good as your availability and reliability, and when both become compromised you'll find yourself out on the street real fast. The Steelers immediately come to mind when it comes to divas... Antonio Brown, Chase Claypool, Diontae Johnson and now George Pickens. Edited December 17 by EasternOHBillsFan Quote

I’m absolutely not saying replace one of the key guys with Diggs. I’m saying if he wanted to come back on a team friendly and slot in. He does not come in at the expense of anyone valuable. I’m not asking for that. I’d also try to expend Shakir right now and try to get a deal. Edited December 17 by Brianmoorman4jesus 2 2 Quote
Udubalum07 Posted December 17 Posted December 17 If the Bills go onto win the super bowl this year, this trade may go down as one of the greatest in bills history. Josh looks so free and loose. He is having fun again. When Josh is having fun, he is one of the greatest of all time. Especially, if they hit on a really good player that helps them win more super bowls with the extra second round pick. 1 Quote

If trevon were to get released I could see both Diggs brothers signing with the commanders. Trevon from my understanding really liked Dan Quinn. The Commanders are a perfect fit for both of them. 1 Quote
MiracleAtRich1393 Posted December 17 Posted December 17 I loved Diggs when he was in his prime here but he fell off HARD over the second half of last year and is now coming off an ACL. I think part of it was he's not a fit for this scheme, but on top of that he's basically going to be mostly a slot guy that doesn't want to block if and when he comes back fully from this injury. I'd take him at league minimum for a year but I'd honestly probably rather have Mack Hollins plus a day 3 rookie next year instead of Diggs at this point. Quote

I know the media is bating the team trying to get them to say Diggs attitude was a distraction last year. But multiple players have said it in a roundabout way. Dawkins this week was just the most recent, but it's the same story since the beginning of the year: we're better off without him. 1 Quote

We don't pay a player after he's traded. Quote

While all of this had been rumored and prior connecting the dots got you here to the same conclusion, this article was the closest to giving more specifics about what exactly was going on. As was stated above things changed around the time Brady took over and then Diggs sulked the rest of year. Quote
