Logic Posted September 2 Posted September 2 The pearl clutching and denunciations that take place within Taylor Swift discussions in relation to the NFL always lead me to the same conclusion: The fragility of some people's egos is absolutely astounding. If the 47 Applebee's commercials, military flyovers, endless gambling promotion, gross commercialism, and potentially life-altering risk of brain injury that take place on NFL Sundays don't offend you, but seeing a pop star for two collective minutes out of a three and a half hour broadcast DOES -- and to the extent that you'd threaten to stop watching altogether -- I don't know what to tell ya. If you're that bothered by it, then I would politely suggest that this probably isn't just about Taylor Swift, and that perhaps you have some deeper-seated issues that merit closer examination. As for her drawing up plays: Good. Let her. She can't be worse at it than Arthur Smith or Nathaniel Hackett 🤷♂️ 4 1 2 Quote

JakeFrommStateFarm Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Anyone who has young daughters or young adult daughters has heard her music. She's a role model for women all over the world. Women all over the world depend on her for life advice that comes out in her songs Quote

Taylor Swift has an amazing connection with her fans and is a top level performer. She has no controversy in her life that would suggest she has a toxic personality or is negative by any means. Her fans absolutely love her and if you see her perform it is obvious that she loves them right back and delivers an amazing experience. As a musician I have to admit she is an incredibly skilled musician. Her success is historic, she is one of if not the most prolific artists ever. I own none of her music and I don't really listen to pop unless I happen to catch a song that sticks with me. I will say if I catch any live video of her on You Tube she nails it, every time. I would think most would disagree with your assessment. 1 Quote
Another Fan Posted September 2 Posted September 2 I respect her talents and accomplishments but I mean she is literally sleeping with the "enemy". Hard for me to block that out of my mind to a degree. It was like Gisele. I found her gorgeous as a teenager but I never looked at her the same after she was married to you know who. Quote

Hey Trev, why not just stop watching Chiefs games? Save yourself the aggravation. Of course, you will still see Chiefs selling insurance, shampoo, and other stuff during any game. Quote

Must suck knowing that literally everything she does in life is more successful than every achievement you’ve had in your life put together by orders of magnitude. I’m sure you think she should have married young and had kids so that your worldview would somehow be validated. That’s what Britney Spears did, and that seems to be working out great. 1 Quote

When/ If you have kids, you’ll understand. Shes unhinged and an awful role model. Edited September 2 by Trev 1 Quote
