I don’t want to be the guy to defend McDaniels, but that team has a lot of low character guys. It would be difficult for anyone to manage.

That's fair, but having seen so much of McDaniel now he comes off as INCREDIBLY fake and that works when you're winning but when things go bad it all comes crashing down.

We will see how much they really believe in him or not. They aren't dead yet. Will they come out and play or roll over?

Even Rachel is turning on him!

She's not welcome back in Buffalo, EVER. All the ***** she tried to stir up, not only with Jordan, but even Micah Hyde's contract.

Stay in Miami with the rest of the beach trash washed up on shore. And speaking of washed up, keep your cheap shot husband there too.

I have her in the same category as Brittany Williams.  Gold digging ...

What do the Raiders have to do with anything and McDaniels isn't even there anymore?!

I get the point but I mean I can definitely think of worse things to do then having Rachel bush over 🤣🤣

Weird because her and Poyer's brother took shots at the organization on the way out the door.  Cracking jokes about the "culture" and how Beane is some dastardly evil guy behind closed doors.

We made a big deal in the off-season about all the captains and "team leaders" we lost since last year. And this year the team is better. Perhaps that speaks to the actual "leadership" we were getting from guys like Diggs, Davis and Poyer. Addition by subtraction.

Let's just hope if/when Poyer is available this off-season Beane keeps him, his Miko Grimes acting wife, and his Temu Jackson Mahomes brother far away from Buffalo

Miko Grimes! That’s a blast from the past.

That team is the antithesis of the Bills. Lots of names you know. Tau, waddle, Hill, Poyer, Chubb, Beckham, mostert, achane, Ramsey, Smith, barrios, Campbell, armstead...

But as a whole the sum of parts doesn't equal the quality of success needed to win ball games.

Character is just a little footnote to success and too often used by the lesser qualified and lesser talented as an excuse to limit expectations.

McDaniel is not as good as he is given credit for, his behavior writes checks he can't cash, and his skill is limited to be nothing more than an OC/offensive talent.

Simply put: McDaniel cannot run a football team but he can make an offrnse.

As much as I’d love to believe this, I don’t put much stock in NFL Rumors accounts.  They’ve been proven to be wrong over and over again.  The people running those accounts either make up news or don’t go through the regular vetting process an NFL Insider does.

With that being said, “soft” or not, Miami is stuck with McDaniel.  He’s not even done with his original contract.  So if Miami was to fire him they not only eat the final year of his original 2022 deal but also pay him the entire value of his 4-year extension which doesn’t even begin until after 2025.   Almost the same situation as Dick Jauron in 2008.  That happens when you jump the gun on a coach’s extension

I know most of these names from reading the South Beach police blotter

That stretch without Tua this year took some of the shine off McDaniels for me. Absolutely had no plan or preparation in place and the team looked terrible. Then add in my concerns about his public persona and I might be looking to move on from him. I'm going to consult with my advisors.

No idea if this is true or not, so take it for what it's worth. But a lot of negativity coming out towards Mcdaniel these days

Like the nerd that gets to hang out with the cool kids and doesn't know how to handle it.  Interesting though the whole 'party' thing, wondering what that entails - after his public admission on his past issues and current sobriety

Ya he doesn't look like he's in a good place mentally. Some of his interviews are just incoherent. I wouldn't be surprised if he was back on the booze

I’d normally dismiss it but pretty much every ex player talks about the party lifestyle and McDaniel physically looks like he’s losing his marbles a bit so there’s probably some truth to it lol
